  2. As @Booch's pr man that he doesn't know he has, what he's saying here is he appreciates the confidence some have in certain players, appreciates the multiple diverse opinions on the matter and may everyone here have great weeks with a loud and passionate GO BOMBERS to unite us. 🙂
  3. Today
  4. I miss the days when we had Barrin Simpson and Joe Lobendahn smashing guys at the line.
  5. big difference between tackles....and plays....seems to me a lot here would say player X on a different team wasnt as good as the stats seemed to indicate even tho high in league if not leading in tackles...and they are not necessarily wrong....but if it is a case where it's to defend Osh it justified I dont care about T.Jones tackles....I am tho of his poor drops in zone going up free catches constantly...his over pursuit and missing tackles in space as he plays at times out of control I also look to meeting guys in the hole...stopping plays for no yards or loss...plays he scrapes an takes down a player for minimal gain...not where it's giving them a 2nd and short He doesn't make the impact plays...the game altering ones.....doesnt meet the ball carrier first or dictate anything really ....he's good at having play come to him, not the other way around.....he's not a complete impactful LB by any stretch and has more holes in his game than positive attributes....Does J.Jones have moe...based on skill set alone and his work in T,O yeah....did he show it here...no.....didnt get the chance...but that being said he showed more in pre-season than T.Jones did, but like him..Thomas..Kolo...Kramdi (tho he actually got bumped from sam) their spots were cemented pre-camp regardless what anyone else did People yap about the game J,Jones played and had no defensive tackles....yet was the best defensive game we put forth all yr...coincided with moving Kramdi and Person actually getting a lot of reps Like a good DB maybe teams were staying away from him...nobody seems to look at that...also if you watch the tape he was perfect on his drops and where to be in space so there was no free pass in his area....subsequently T.Jones was able to play better in his drops as he saw the depth he should be J.Jones was removed.....Person went back to 6...7 reps again and until last game the defence never looked as good as that game Some times its not all about "stats" and what you think you are seeing This team is saddled with players playing as a personal choice of Osh and it's not necessarily due to true actual on field talent that translates into a game....works to an extent when you are loaded across the board with talent (2019-2022) but we aint now Flame away flamers....I expect nothing less from the licker of the boots
  6. I was excited about Tony Jones when he came on the scene for an injured Bighill last year... "excited" as in, this guys will be a great place holder until we find a permanent fit... I never imagined the team would view him as the permanent fit... I thought Jon Jones had a chance to be that guy.... I want a MLB that's a game changer... not just an above average place holder... It continues to concern me that we hold on to 30-something linebackers while ignoring and releasing younger players... The silver lining for me is if the plan is to start seeing more defensive reps from Shay and Smith and get more Americans on the D-line... I'm all for it...
  7. Trailblazer. RIP.
  8. To be fair, when healthy kaprizov is a superstar but he hasn’t been healthy in a long time. But Minnesota also has other guys signed to long term kinda “cheap “ contracts. No guarantee the cap goes up. WNBA is more popular than hockey in the USA and more affordable. 17 million gonna be mostly paid in ticket price hikes where they are gonna completely make it so only the very rich can play and go to games. This is the start of the end of Canadian teams who are the only ones who consistently sell out.
  9. Doesn’t mean **** either way.
  10. In summary, Argos suck.
  11. Mm i they are very close in terms of quality at dc. I think halls big advantage is being a worlds better leader and great at adjustments.I think burke was way better at Xs n Os on the front 6.
  12. Who says he couldn't play up to expectations? Really watch Tony Jones.play sometime... see if you think that's an untouchable player no matter what the # of tackles at the end of the game says. He's a decent piece, but he is replaceable and based on what I saw in one game, j. Jones could have easily replaced and done more.
  13. J Jones and D Mitchell is a perfect example of the duality of fans. D Mitchell was a dud signing that O'Shea didn't want to use and was a mark against Walters J Jones was a great signing that O'Shea didn't want to use and that is a mark against O'Shea Pretty much pick your horse and ride or die with them🤣 Neither player could crack the roster out of training camp... it just happened that there was an apocalyptic amount of WRs that went down and more or less forced O'Shea's hand and now Mitchell is on the AR and Jones is on the scrap heap. Not outside the realm of possibility that if there was a significant run of injuries at LB Jones would probably still be around. TBF there definitely seemed to be a bit more noise about why Mitchell wasn't on the AR as opposed to Jones so who knows what really was going on there.
  14. I have basically zero evidence to back this up. But it often feels like this team works in quarters. As in 4 games, 4 games, 4 games, 4 games. Doesn't always work out this way but it generally feels like if changes are needed they are made after a few games of trying. Last week marks the start of the last quarter. Also the obvious change in QB and WRs and just overall offense capabilities.
  15. BetMGM has them at 97 points i believe.

  17. I have to admit, and I was at the stadium... the play calling for this game was really good - and the execution was great. I have been very critical of Hogan - and frequently calling for his head... and if he was calling the game - I was impressed. I do not understand how his calling can go from putrid to amazing in one week! Matt
  18. And id say 90% on Reddit Wild are perfectly fine with this.
  19. It is but in a bad writing way. Dwight knew Dunmire's name but later on forgot how to pronounce it? Also the distillery owner was sitting on a gold mine of liquor but didnt want to sell any of it? I understand the distribution story part but he could still sell it.

  21. Has Hogan been interviewed about his excellent play calling last game?
  22. Yes, when they get back from the bye. I wouldnt be surprised if a couple of training camp cuts are brought in. Maybe guys that they liked but didn't have the room for out maybe they were injured. Just seems to be the team's MO.
  23. ....he would/could add something to the locker room also....I think he's just going stagnant in the hammer
  24. Wah wah wah...free agent bust couldn't play up to expectations, someone fire the coach..wah.
