The Bomber quarterbacking will be spotty at best with all the ins and outs. I will be looking for the Oline to be waaay better, for Harris to crack off a couple of good runs and our linebackers and Dline to make life miserable for whoever the Als put behind their center.

Willy will prolly be solid. The first series will be scripted and the first after half after which hell prolly be out. Then the back ups will prolly flood in.

So how long does Willy stay in? 1st quarter?  Is Nichols a lock at number 2 this year?

My guess is that Willy is in until half, unless the o-line doesn't hold up. If he's getting hit, he's out.

Nichols is 2. I don't see that changing this season.

Mt should be a good first test... our OL had trouble with them all last season

I'll be surprised if Willy plays more than 2 or 3 sets of downs. The first preseason game isn't to get the main offense a bunch of work. It's to get a look at as many players as possible in 'game' situations. Nichols is likely to get the most time IMO.

That's more what I see also. If they want to look at some rookie o-linemen, be prepared for some missed assignments. No way you leave Willy in there to get pounded in that situation. I'd consider most of first quarter maybe, buts that's about it.
