The cupboard is bare behind Harris, can't rely on one RB.  Hope they can get Marshall back,

Marshall won't be back.  He signed in Seattle.

If RB's are a dime a dozen Bombers currency must have been yen

They are a dime a dozen, are you suggesting it's hard to recruit rbs and that the CFL teams have trouble plugging in rbs on short notice?

Guessing both made decent coin.

Is Turner next?

Not surprised by either, in fact kinda excited to see who we bring in at DE now

Looking forward to the competition for the other DE spot.

bryant turner at DE. i kid i kid. Its a good point. I wonder if we will go rookie or try and get a proven cfl pass rusher. The DL could be scary good this year.

I forgot about Carlos Anderson. Wonder how his injury rehab has gone. He looked like a real threat when he did play.

Well I'd be surprised if Cotton made much.  He had never really proved himself except in spots and just played parts of two years.  Peach probably made a little more since he's a vet but I can't imagine they are going to save much.  I think it's more of wanting to upgrade the talent.

I actually saw on FB "Cotton was useless, but I'm ticked about dumping Peach..."  I had no words to even begin to answer this...

Not uncommon for casual fans to like "fan-favourite" players over actual good players... I remember the casual fan outrage when we released Jason Vega last year... good player but he certainly didn't live up to the contract he had...

Greg Peach... seems like a nice guy, good leader, probably a good locker room guy... but all that means nothing if you can't play...

I know this is totally unrelated to the discussion but that last part perfectly describes Mark Stuart with the Jets. Sorry, continue on.

Peach being released kinda makes me feel warm and fuzzy for some reason....

Falling further from the tree.....

Kind of sounds like the yogurt container I found at the back of the fridge.  I can't be sure but I swear it squealed when I threw it in the trash.
