If Bombers sign him should every other GM be fired?

  • No worries capgeek said that the ticats only have 85 dollars left so they can't sign him!

  • Should you break the bank for one player? It is interesting how Calgary uses the NFL model for their salary structures. Huff believes that certain positions warrant a specific range in pay structure.

I think we are set at import at the position. Simmons played pretty good when he was in there Saturday.

The one thing this team is missing is a top flight Canadian starter.  Henoc is a top flight player and I hope the Bombers are doing everything within their power to sign him.  To do otherwise would be incredibly foolish.

What about the guy leading the league in sacks?

Good point!

How about the second thing, (The first being a healthy QB as Noeller pointed out), this team is missing is a second top flight Canadian starter. :)

I guess my point is, when you have a chance to attain a top flight Canadian, you do everything in your power to get him.  For me, this is kind of a no brainer.

I cant see Henoc signing anywhere way of here. I always thought it was us or TO/HAM.

My only wish is that Kyle Walter will be true to his word that they will match any offers... and more.

Just an attempt by his agent to drag things on and on and on in hopes of getting another NFL tryout. At this point,I'd be after Wild too. Was or apparently still is here for a concert

I'm a bit surprised that Henoc hasn't made his decision yet.   Surely offers have been presented, and I'm really hoping he signs with us.  Top level NI talent is always welcome, and the more the merrier.  I think that there is room for both Henoc and Hurl to get lots of playing time in rotation at both Mac and Wil, and on specials.

This whole Henoc Muamba 'I'm Back" CFL tour is just getting old. I've never known a player to do this.

It's getting very old and becoming kind of a joke already. It's LeBron James level of douchebaggery...

                Or Not

But just get on with it already...

Until he hasn't signed on any team yet, we have a chance to see him here.

Now do your part, change your twitter avatar with this. :D:lol:

I understand what you're saying and depending on the mood of the day I'm in, might tend to agree with you.

However, the other side of the coin is he's just trying to ensure he secures the right situation and compensation package for him and the people close to him.

Or like the BC asst gm said... he's delaying cuz his agent thinks he might get another NFL shot. Didn't say it exactly but it's there

You're right, this is extremely uncommon in the CFL... but obviously a common practice in the other major leagues that are dealing with real big money...

This is just a stupid comment... didn't your mother teach you to think before you speak (updated for 2015... think before you type!)...

He's just trying to maximize his value... I would bet at the advice of his agent(s)...

Same as what Lawless been saying on H&L. Lawless also added that if no NFL calls, the earliest Henoc sign on a CFL team is midweek next week.

Probably waiting for some posibilities (becuse of injuries) after Week 2.

I've been saying all along that Muamba's camp is biding there time waiting for something to come up in the NFL. As for playing in the CFL if that happens my money's still on a eastern team  to get him, what type of contract who knows.

I think he is coming back here.

I'm inclined to agree with Dave's earlier sentiment that Walters basically said "Do the tour, come back to me and we'll top off whatever the highest bid is..."

If he visited your team on this tour and left without signing a contract, can't see that as a good thing for your team.

Hasn't been to us yet, and I imagine he is just checking everywhere out prior to signing a 1+1 with us.

yeah I for one am glad he hasn't come here yet. Go see everyone else...let's get an idea of what they are offering and then try to blow them out of the water with our offer. Meaning, sponsors need to get involved...maybe a nice house/car etc etc etc

I think Montreal is the main threat.

Anyone of us in his shoes would be doing the same thing...NFL and their big $$ first and then consider the highest bidder in the CFL if no other options down south. I say do what you need to do Henoc because football can be a real short career. Quite frankly Henoc and all professional athletes have every right to be choosey. They're the ones that made the sacrifices and made the most of opportunities presented to them. I hope he signs here, but if not I wish him all the best except when playing the Blue and Gold. Fans shouldn't take it personally. A guys got to do what a guys got to do. Good on him to be getting all this attention and being chaperoned, wined and dined all across Canada.
