First up BC @ Edmonton in another packed house. Rourke gets injured on the first BC possession, replacement Brice throws a pick.

  • Again, the Walters timing of trading for Dru is crazy.

After listening to Smith last night, I take back my comments about Nielsen.

First Bo, now Rourke. Not good for the league when quality QBs go down. As @SpeedFlex27 has said repeatedly, keep Zach and Dru.

One of the producers has clearly talked to Nielsen about the guttural yelling... It was over the top. I understand being excited but when it's so guttural that you can't understand the words and you're out of breath.... It's over the top. Needed to take 15-20% off of that.

Willson just comes across as such a ******. Maybe he's a nice guy in real life but on TV and online, I'm not a fan of the persona.

Hopefully Rourke has not dislocated that shoulder. Looked like lots of ice on it so maybe just bruised. Elks defenders really came down like concrete on that hit.

Best thing about Wilson doing colour is if he says something and the replay contradicts it, he corrects himself. Suitor would never...

yup...Suitor basically adds nothing that just the average fan can see anyway as well

Willson I like...has good insight...will actually tell you tha whats and why's and ins and outs

If Wilson could stop saying WE all the time.... That would be great!

We will tell him that we advise him to do so.

It’s all subjective of course, but personally I find his voice a bit grating.

I don’t mind him as much when he’s not going hysterical. He’s better than Rod Smith at least, granted that’s a low bar.

Same. I don’t dislike him, but it feels like he tries too hard sometimes.

He’s still fairly new at it so I’m sure he’ll keep getting better.

I like listening to him on sports shows and think he’s pretty good in the booth. I wish he didn’t act like an ******* on social media though.

Overall I think he’s been good for the league.

And fans here want to trade Collaros? Are they nuts??? Look at BC. Look at Hamilton. They have nothing behind their starters Mitchell & Rourke who face significant time recuperating from their injuries. . If I was a Rider fan, I'd be scared shitless thinking what the Riders would do if he went down. They have Tommy Stevens who can't throw. Jack Coan is totally unproven. Would the Argos be willing to trade Arbuckle?? I don't think Osh & Walters will deal Zach.

the only bright spot about that injury is it's Rourke's non throwing shoulder.

With Collaros now 6-gamed, we are reduced to having Elgersma and Perkins as backups. Who could have foreseen this?

I predict that a Philpott is going to win today. Bold prediction I know.

To be honest...im not too worried with Perkins..with the right scheme he should be pretty damn effective if pressed into duty

Realistically this yr if Brown gets knicked in a game..id prefer to see him take back up reps..he is way more pro ready..as he has been a pro now in 3 leagues..and started games and played in 2 of them..this idea he has no arm is kinda stupid.. sure his mechanics are not perfect..but who's are really..he don't need to be perfect..his game isnt a pocket passer guy 100 percent of time

Now if Dru say goes 2-0...3-0..say ZC is on 6 the whole duration and he is sporting a winning record and the offence is clicking...do you extend ZC 6 more..use that cap savings to try and lure a neg list guy..or a nfl camp cut who will be a hot commodity in the cfl? And or bring him back on roster but as the #2 until..or if Brown falters...or gets hurt?

Automatically giving him the #1 job again after all that time off..when we are doing just fine makes zero sense..so he becomes the backup..if he is a team guy he should embrace that

Dickie Dee loses it at least once a game. Also never enough challenge flags when he is coaching a game.

Stamps driving to score, cough cough game over

Gotta be the ultimate guessing game as to when the "Replay Centre" will intervene on their own or not.

Calgary was way offside on their late 3rd down stop that led to the tying TD. Sometimes that's reviewed, sometimes not.

All turnovers and scoring plays are supposed to be reviewed but Maas had to throw his flag to get the spot looked at on the 3rd down turnover.

Hard to look at this league as anything but bush until stuff like this is remedied. Either go to a system where all plays are reviewed or stick to only reviews coming from coaches and scoring plays.

5 attempts though...bring in some big bodies and force the issue. Especially when your back up is a turnover waiting to happen.

In football to be consistently successful you have to establish the run.

AC has one fine looking offense rolling in Montreal. Some beautiful schemes.

Ford is doing a pretty credible imitation of a decent CFL quarterback and leading the Argos to boot.

A couple notes this far...

Buck is in rough with Rourkes injury

Alexander's Hammy looked good....

Kelly has a great deep ball, but if a defence takes it away he looks pedestrian

Ford can run...sorta throw, but man he can run
