only two ways out of it. one, we get healthy and crazy lucky with development, not too likely given the volume of spots we need. Or two, we start jettisoning dead weight and bringing in new guys, but we have to repeat the process for a long while to find gems.

Reality is, it’s hard to fix and easy to ignore. ignoring roster management issues has gotten the mafia a 3 year matching extension, so they have no reason to change.

This could take years. We could find ourselves back to 2013. My biggest concern is the OL.

Start by using the pieces you have to build the best roster you possible can. Not convinced we do that in the slightest, but let's actually put the best team we can on the field and see where it's at. There's no universe where Cobb is one of the best Canadians on the team and needs to be a starter always and forever.

We dont...thats the issue...we waste DA spots...we hand starting jobs to holdivers...just because...not earned...but awarded

Jenkins just for example...handed job even tho outplayed by multiple guys in camp...shockingly we punted him for Reese who was by far the better one..and watching him play each week he looks nothing like a rookie who will hurt u...Wonder who made that call...did Younger tell osh to do it? Interesting to hear the dynamics but id bet my left and right nut it wasn't an oshea revelation

What success has occurred since 2022...its been a steady decline in wins...place in standings...playoff exits..4 yrs is a long time in football life...and from looks of this yr..all 3 are gonna continue down same trajectory

What did The Trinity really do from 2022-25?? We got to the GC from 22- 24 just for our HC to continually eff up playing injured players. We choked against the Argos. We couldn;t hold a lead against the Als in the final seconds. Ever seen a roller coaster go slowly up. up, up, then level off just to go down, down, down even faster. We're going down as a team very fast while living in the past.The time for change was this past off season.

I know you guys would make a different choice. And that’s fine. But don’t pretend 1991-2015 didn’t exist. And don’t pretend things haven’t been vastly different over the past 10 years.

Because we’ve had decent seasons in my lifetime. We’ve had grey cup appearances. But we hadn’t won. And more than that, the success was never sustained. But 9 consecutive 10+ win seasons is unprecedented for us and that’s the reason they’re going to continue to get the benefit of the doubt. Not because they’re “buddies” with anyone.

I don't disagree with the first half of your statement... but the Bombers were selling over 20k even in the absolutely darkest years... I think it'll take many years of futility to see less than 15k...

I didn’t catch when it happened but we added the neg list rights to ni ol logan taylor who was a 6th round pick by the chargers. He was the top prospect won the ol in the draft. Played T in college is considered a G/C project in the nfl.

That's not a reason to keep holding an organization back like it has. While it hasn't been a total collapse (yet), it is a death by a thousand cuts. You don't have to see a jet airliner crash to know that it will once it runs out of fuel.

I'm sure it's just a lottery ticket. He just went undrafted because CFL teams thought he'd never be up here.

Yeah happened a couple months ago. Was part of a rare (for the Bombers) flurry of neg list activity so it kinda got buried.
