TBF, they cycled through so many players this season that it's impossible to sign someone who isn't an Ottawa cast off.

bad teams cut and waste good players.

Ya I was gonna say... All of a sudden Dinwiddie is a great judge of talent, and nobody should ever touch his castoffs....??

Wade was smart to make the survey mainly about sponsors and partners. I don't think they would enjoy (or are even interested in) our opinions on the way the football side of things has been going.

Survey actually bugged me. The club doesn't need to know my plans for major purchases, where I bank and the other stuff. Wade Miller can **** right off with his survey.

Except when their castoffs are offensive coordinators.

Same, it was super invasive. They said it was short too lol

I completely understood the survey .. thought it was fine. They need info to give their sponsors (such as Access Credit Union...) to show them their marketing dollars are being spent well. I tried to fill it out as thoroughly and honestly as I could.

yeah we definitely have to switch up our thinking and not keep looking back at what was...and worked. Teams already have been morphing things to an extent while we have been standing pat, and well we have witnessed the real time decline

I'd prefer we go a national kicker who could do all 3, and the new rules we dont need to have some long bomb field goal guy as they gonna be few and far between now

There's a lot of global talent out there hat could prob give you more value elsewhere if you did your homework than a punter anyway.

2027 needs to be the yr...probably 3 yrs over due now where we abandon this rigidity of our roster makeup in regards to where we pre-designate our Nationals...actually pre-designate many spots national and american. Actual open competition should reign supreme and if it means a vet gets cut/pr'd/bumped to a backup...so be it

A new guy/second yr guy if good enough...and with adequate coaching can play...they don't need seasoning on a PR...Thats just nonesense

We broke camp...I recall saying Reese should have been on the active...Singer as well and starting...Fletcher should be in rotation...Our best center was Eli...No reason Smith should be second fiddle anymore

Down the stretch and especially in the last reg season game and in the playoffs...who made some real key plays and helped get us o the ESF...Singer...Reese and Fletcher (who has gotten better and better) ...Eli solidifying the interior and making proper calls (Just look at the game winning TD series and how he was key in keeping the pocket from caving from the middle allowing Dru to have the confidence o stand in there and drop some solid pass from pocket) Not to mention until he got hurt Smith being one of our best impactful defender....Its no rocket science to see/assess talent and where and how to best utilize if you take off the Bias glasses

Imagine where some those guys would be if given the reigns right outta the gate...and wonder what others may have same potential buried behind Osh and his piss poor ideas and assessing?

Imagine where we would be had we played these guys instead of Osh's faves. Think we'd have won 3 more games had we played Singer, Fletcher & Eli among others?

He deserves it, that's for sure. Best ol on a mediocre at best ol most of the year; that isn't easy.

Normally, you would expect this to go to one of the top 2 teams in the league, though.

I was more surprised Vaval won. He had a great year but tapered off heavily in the mid-to-late stretch.

Because he was starting on corner. I saw the same thing. He didn't seem to want to hit the holes as hard. Self preservation, whether intentional or not. It's playoffs now. No room to not give it your all.

I'm not too surprised. Even with his returns not being as great towards the end, he still ended up with about 600 more yards than last year. I also think it was a bit of a down year for returners - there were 18 return TD's in 2025 but only 12 this season so nobody really jumped off the page.

Trey lead the league in combined return yards (1st in punts, 2nd in missed field goals and 3rd in kickoff returns) so I think it would have been hard to argue against him. Blanchard had a great season and finished 2nd but for a kicker to win, IMO, they need to have some kind of record-setting season (like when Lewis Ward won, as a rookie, he set league records for single season accuracy record and consecutive kicks made).

Vaval was just shy of league record too for combined...no?

For a kicker to win he needs to be near damn perfect..with a whole pile of 55+ yard ones...maybe some 60's as really that is their job to make a FG

I just hope some sanity prevails & Stanley Bryant is told to retire. Put B roxton where he belongs at LT & sign a FA tackle.

Didn’t hear much about Broxton this year and that absolutely is a good thing. Also the game or two that he missed our line was absolutely schooled. To Bryant’s credit even he played better down the stretch. I’d go as far to say our line overall down the stretch has been average to good.

Yeah early on big stan was hurt and wasn't mobile...but he wasn't that bad last half the season really..had some whiffs but who doesn't.. we just spoiled for yrs with his dominance

But..def dont wanna see him at left tackle next yr...guard if hes brought back but ideally if we get our draft picks from down south id prefer to see us use only 1 import

Booch ,please lets not go down that road again,LOL. Remember during TC when we suggested Big Stan move inside.....We was Moronic LMAO.

I think starting at the corner helped him out a little bit. He was trying to do too much. Then he became too tentative, not sure if it was the 2 fumbles, possible injuries, or just wear from all the reps. He seems to be primed right now.

He did get a lot better around the last 1/3rd to shortly after the halfway point. He isn't good enough for another year, nor durable enough. But we can win this week with him. I hope he recognizes his last go round and comes out with a performance like we haven't seen in ages.

Yeah..he is fine to close out the yr and big game..big experience..im not to concerned, but definitely shouldn't be back..just the age now and fact the last 2 yrs hes been basically hurt all yr but battled thru..thats not going away

Next yr if manu and Cline are here and based just on what we currently have on hand..if we start the yr with Broxton at LT..Eli at center..the best of Manu/Wallace/Cline/Vpool/Poncius at the guards and RT spot and 6th we would have a brawling and athletic group and light yrs better than last 2 yrs. I had no issues with Neufs play but his age now..salary..maybe time to move on and let the young blood shine...that being said as the 6th olineman he wouldn't be a bad option

Id like tho with Stan and his money off the books..we target the best avaliable olineman in FA hard regardless of position and make it fit..we have neutered ourselves too much in FA with the stand pat mentality of continuously just bypassing guys to keep trotting out guys who been here for a while or didnt fit our rigid ratio

I really want Rano back next year, plus Manu in. Cline would be solid too. I'm not married to any of the interior OL at this point. I'd love to see Vanterpool given a real chance to be the starting G though.

Yeah if Randoph just on a 1 yr deal id target him..Vpool for sure needs to be given every opportunity to grab a spot..big athletic versatile brawler..

Neuf was only extended for this yr..with him and Bryant off the books that's 300k and change free to put part of toward the best OL guy in FA...

Brox on the left with Vanteroool on the right would be a huge upgrade next year. If we get Cline and Manu back, that's a big step in the right direction...
