I’m at camp today. First observation is DeShaan Dixon has the shortest shorts I’ve ever seen on a football player.

I truly think Daniels woulda been there if we didn't trade up. He is more a project than anything night now, and is/was not a guy who was gonna step in and be dominant and a difference maker....If we are truly in this mindset that we were gonna start 3 National receivers than the smart move would have with trading up picking the best true receiver and a guy who could actually be a 5th option. And if the brain trust here was under the idea Corcorran was good enough as being the main back-up...god forbid the actual 3rd starter than gimme some of what they were smoking cause I want some

We blundered that pick, and again fall into the trap that just cause we have a holdover, who the HC liked for whatever reason then we were solid and good and didnt need to upgrade.

Like really how hard is it to scout and recruit a true WR with a skill set that would be good on a CFL field....It's not, but we always tend to get stuck in this loop of coveting certain intangibles that don't translate into legit performers.

It sounded like they thought ott would take him. Which maybe true, though I doubt it. I tend to think he would've been there later still.

I also think if we went to WRs instead of / before going to Lbers (once again) we would've been in a much better situation.

Instead of Bouliane, who has no path to being on the AR short of 6 guys getting hurt, we take one of Udoh, Ulm, or Ojutalayo (who is a better teams piece instantly any way.)

Then instead of Brody clark, who is the same as bouliane but needs 7 guys toget hurt to see the ar, You could take sibley, or Cenacle.

Personally, Id a taken Ojutalayo and Cenacle.

yup...or at best last 3rd of season when he has a good 15 months of rehab behind him

Yep. At this point hes 2 years away from being a hail mary come back.

Schoen will likely never see a pro football field again. There is absolutely no way he's part of any teams plan.

yeah....Just a prime example of our poor draft strategy to continually pick guys who are not good enough really to replace current slugs, and have zero real upside to contribute outside of teams. Good players with upside can play teams too just as well if not better, and at same time be worked into a contributing role on the roster...and not just back end guys who serve no purpose...other than being back end guys

and sadly what went on here last yr...is the cause of a career that was ruined...we rushed him back due to poor recruiting, then allowed him to keep going on a re-injured knee, again due to poor depth and poor judgement.....sad

He was a good signing and at good value...BUT we should have had the foresight to not consider him until at least Labour day/BB and allow him a good 14..15 months of recovery and eased him in in a rotational capacity....He'd be still playing today and likely going into this yr back to pre-injury Schoen as that specific injury tho you can come back within the yr...the player doesnt truly become 100 percent the former player until the second yr post surgery

Imagine having 100 percent Schoen this season with White...Pokey...Demski and a Neild/Clercius combo...His when healthy 1300+ yards and 13 td's per season average sure would look nice right about now at 29 yrs old

Man we sure screwed that whole situation up...basically due to piss poor rostering and recruiting

WhatThe plan of hoping and praying that Schoen can make a miracle return to improve our WR room seems sadly likely.

From what I have heard, Fredrickson has all the tools, but needs polishing. May he will be the next Shoen, but younger and more durable.

Oy! Looks like we are down to scraping the bottom of the barrel again. Barring more injuries, we look to be ok but not dominant in the NI category. Anyone have Kamau Peterson's phone number?

He'd probably drop the phone if we called.

How would Jabari Arthur factor into this conversation?
