Another gem from cfl.ca:

"If Rourke is healthy, then BC should be good for 13-14 wins in a West Division that they should dominate alongside Saskatchewan".

We'll be fighting for the crossover boys!

love them sleeping on us.

If we don’t get vaccaro, I’d sure like henning

I'm pretty confident we will be good this year. How good will depend on our quarterbacking. I personally have high hopes with Broxton and the overall commitment to revamping our OL...and then Tim White to throw to...

Defense is really shaping up to be menacing.

Riders suck, BC sucks. Time to assert our position back at the top of the mountain.

Yeah, no mention is made that sask has lost Carney,Allen,Reaves,Nield, Baldanado, Ajou, and Micah Johnson, yet Cfl.ca figures they will win more games than last year. ( Winnipeg and Edmonton both will be stronger as well)

Seconded... But I like where the media's head is at. Let's go surprise everyone.

A lot of big stars left. We lost Matt Dunigan & Elfrid Payton to US expansion teams. Tracy Ham, Damon Allen, Mike Pringle all left Canadian teams. Don Matthews left the Riders to coach the Baltimore team. so there was drain for sure.

None of those stars were Canadian.

100%. I expect us to be a real tough team to play this year. As always health will play a big factor.

Qbing will dictate how good we will be. Best case scenario, zach has one more magic run in him with a blm/harris like resurgence. In which case we are a top contender.

Worst case, zach is done/injured and we have a gritty tough team that only wins ugly.

maybe the most likely situation is zach is the best we’ve seen in 2-2.5 years but does not return to his peak level. Then we have a 18/19 type team but with the sporadic ability to put up a blow out on any one.

All I can say is I hope the CFL scribes keep rating as an 'also ran' because I know we'll surprise the hell out of a few of them....These kinds of positionings and ratings this early, when a serious shot hasn't even been fired, amuse the heck out of me...We definitely had an excellent fa and I believe some of our off season signings are going to come through for us....I also believe quarterbacking will be the deciding factor about our success one way or the other...TC should tell us a lot and is certainly going to give us a better picture...In any case we are going to put a scare into some of the 'so called front runners' and could even give the top spot a run ourselves in the west.....We shall see

My opinion...i think we will have the top..if not top 2 defence in league and and strong ST's and will be our identity..we have the horses and pieces there to be an active attack defense...and the true success hinges on 2 things...What ZC are we gonna see..legit OC..Some legit top 3 starter receivers...BO..and a oline light yrs better than last yr...all the excuses have been purged so if he is not getting it done we need a inseason transition and not sure if that's capable

The other thing that is key is if Osh handcuffs us again with his questionable rostering and decisions

All I can currently see where he could eff things up is the dumb decision to go 3 national receivers and have Corcoran in spot 3
