Not to piss on the parade, but a question for those who know this stuff.... How concerned should we be about Ceresna's meniscus injury last year? Is this similar to Schoen and Strev situation where it could fall apart again midway through this season?

For what its worth saw a recent article with him and he says it was a fluke injury and he’s 100% now.

I didn’t produce (in 2025), I didn’t do what I was supposed to do, so I’ve got no arguments about that. The biggest worry with a guy getting injured is, ‘Are they going to be the same player?’ They’re going to have their worries and you know what? I’m not going to be the same player, I’m going to be a better player going into 2026,” said Ceresna.

“All I can do is show with my actions. I know there’s gonna be people that don’t believe in me or question if I’ve still got it and that’s fine — that’s just gonna add fuel to the fire and it’s gonna motivate me more and more to prove them wrong.”

I think what’s going to (hopefully) do wonders for Willie is that he’s not gonna be a full time player

Hope so, like I said no more excuses.

It’s all there for him.

Sadly...this the stuff we shoulda been doing last yr...smh

Don't worry, there is still stuff to complain about.

They'll probably start 3 Americans on the OL, Kramdi is still a starter, and they still aren't grooming a Canadian kicker to do all 3 jobs.

😁

2 moves and the o line is instantly better, Kolankowski out, Broxton in

And 2 moves to the d line. Thomas out and Ceresna in.

Both lines will be vastly improved. If you subscribe to the notion that teams are only as good as their lines, you're loving this.

Receivers vastly improved with Tim White and Tommy Nield

Running back status quo (great)

QB. Zach is Zach. He will likely thrive with the overall talent built around him. But it might be nice to get a good backup.

Linebackers status quo (should be fine but obviously would be nice to be better)

DBs should be just as good if not better with Moxey

Special teams we are status quo (good)

It should be a great year.

Seemed like the polite thing to do is not draw attention to it, but..... It's very funny to think about those posts. I think even this past week someone was birching that we had no money left, as if they'd seen the books...

Every year a few people on here think the Bombers have a tiny purse while other clubs like Edmonton can go out and sign 5 - 10 starters because somehow they have more money then we do.   I politely bring things up to remind those folks that the Blue are able to go out and sign free agents and that the last few years they really sat on their butts.

At this point if we sign any one else of note it's pure gravy... it's an A+ off season already.

Meniscus is piddly...in season surgery to fix u miss maybe 4..to 6 weeks..crescent tear..they snip it out..and thats that...speaking from experience.

So Broxton is our LT moving forward. Stanley moves to RT or inside?

Id say stan stays...broxton shifts...Randolph goes inside or is the 6th

You know what? Let the tackles shake out whatever way works best..better to have too much talent than not enough..remember what happened when Hardrick left 2 years ago?

For my money, Broxton is the LT no matter what. Hes hands down the best pass blocking tackle in the league. Rando was very good at RT. I think you give Stan a chance at RT, and G. Let the best guy play. Vanterpool was the best imp guard too.

Today screams to me, best player plays. The way it should be.

Not a doc but I've had ACL surgery twice and meniscus surgery once. Meniscus recovery was a walk in the park. I had a bucket handle tear.

Imo, rando would be a significant down grade at G vs vanterpool.

T, Rando, Broxton, Stan

G Vanterpool, Paddy, Wallace

C Eli, Vibert. '

We likely need to hide some one on the IR. maybe 2 guys

No one yet but he’s way younger than Stanley, arguably the best tackle in the league, and the Bombers just made him the highest paid american linemen. Pretty much screams starting LT?

Next yr yeah...I don't see it this yr...do u really expect the GOAT to be shuffled...even more so...U think Broxton expects it...doubt it..

If best oline config is 3 imports...then u do it..plain and simple ...and i said i expect Randolph at guard already

Kramdi isnt our best SAM option even though we pay him as best in league

Any team would kill and pay handsomely for a Canadian kicker to do all 3 and free up a DA spot

Sorry to piss on your kraut but thats just facts

I forgot about vpool...and agree

If ratio allowed Randolph be damn good 6th...as dude was a tight end and certainly he athletic enough to be used as that in jumbo and have to be respected

A few other random thoughts;

Im crazy excited to see lawson and ceresna inside on the DL. We still need a rotational ni inside, and a 2nd de. But I think we will let the rookie crop play for a spot opposite willy. Still need more pass rushing depth though.

Very happy to add nield and white to our wr core. Seems sure we are flipping to 3 canadian wrs, probably 3 imps on the OL too.

Im not sure we are done.

Broxton was some one I didn't even dream of us going after.

Broxton and Ceresna are the 2 best free agents in the class. And white was top 5. This is the biggest splash in free agency for us in modern or semi modern history.

I agree. He isn't the earth mover that yoshi is, but rando is excellent. Take kola off, and add an imp guard and he should be a monster.

Maybe use the naturalized imp on big stan and carry him as the 6th?

Thats what Ceresna had.

And worth noting, he says he is allready 100% from it.

A fast off season recovery like that could really boost his off season as well. Idk what his is usually like, but a guy that age especially on the line needs to work the whole off season and not go too hard. This slots in very well with that pace and volume imo.

So in one off season...we effectively have:

Pooched the worst excuse of an O.C in likely decades

Dropped our 2 worst starters and added best available DT and fack even John Bonk would been better than Kolo so whoever grabs it in camp is better and our oline is better...as we added the best tackle in league

Signed all our must haves and lost nobody who will be missed

Grabbed the best Cdn WR available (see ya Corcoran) and one of the 3 top WR...and likely the best one to suit our system...with an OC familiar with him

Grabbed a top DB who is in his prime and is a vet and knows the league inside and out

Can't argue with what Walters has done....Osh can't fuxkk this up now...can he? And if he does...apple and roadway time cause all the excuses and good will has all but evaporated

Lawson gonna thrive learning from Jake...and not Thomas haha

Those 2 inside...holy havoc

I can see us going after Bissett or Kurly Wurly and if we we do..one of them..Demski..Neild...CLercius...Cobb...more than enough depth to make 3 Canadian WR work
