rebusrankin Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago I thought we had both Danny and Matty in 92. Did Danny Mac not leave in 93 because Cal prefered The Son In Law? bigg jay 1

Yup, we had both in 92 (as well as the son in law). 92 was Matty's first year with us & Danny's last. I remember the rumours about Garza but he was 3rd string & had been with the team longer so I'm not sure how true that is.

That said, Pavia is as blue-chip a prospect as it gets in the CFL. I also don't think he's 6' in cleats. I bet he measures 5'9-5'10 and immediately sees his status change to free agent guy you take a flyer on. Probably sits a year hoping for an NFL shot then comes up the following year. bb1 1
wbbfan Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Naylor says the bombers have requested and been granted permission to talk to Mike Miller (toronto) for the oc position! He notes miller is a candidate for the argos hc job still. Theyre giving me some hope! blue85gold, Bigblue204, Dr Zaius and 3 others 5 1

FML I know everyone is just going to say "can't be worse!" But do we know if this Mike Miller is any good? We don't want to just do better than last year... We need to do GREAT with this hire... Dr Zaius Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Seems in bad taste to not fire Hogan before this, no? I mean, I don't care -- I want Hogan fired lol, but this seems like an odd sequence

Plus he's made Arbuckle look halfway decent. Would not be worse but time would tell if would be great. Noeller, Bigblue204 and Booch 2 1

Goalie Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Toronto’s O wasn’t the problem. Dude played a role in making Arbuckle look real good this past season. Plus 2 Mike Millers would be fun and with Wade there also your 26 slogan can be… It’s Miller Time. Edited 1 hour ago by Goalie Bigblue204 1

Goalie Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) There seems to be a weird false narrative about Brady and his lack of use this year online especially Facebook groups. But looking at his numbers, he had the most receiving yards in his career and missed almost 3 full games. He had 59 less runs than his best year. But he missed almost 3 full games. 20 carries a game for those almost 3 he missed and he would have had more rushes in his career also. Just odd why would Brady be pissed? 5.4 yard average per carry roughly. X 60 more rushes in those almost full 3 games he missed and that’s an additional 300 yards putting him close to 1500 rushing yards and over 2000 combined. What more can he expect ?? Captain Blue Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Interviewing two proven OC candidates is a pretty strong start. Hope they can nail the hire. Toronto's approach seems...odd. Aiming high is fine but they seem interested in everyone else's head coaches, interviewed their own assistants, but no other external assistants.
17to85 Posted 59 minutes ago Report Posted 59 minutes ago Condell would imo be an OK hire. Nothing exceptional but not a train wreck like Hogan.
