Also the OL... I still believe in Zach but he doesn't have the right tools around him. I definitely agree that he's probably making too much money (probably - we don't know) for a guy that needs all the conditions to be right in order to be effective. At like 400k... Build a proper OL, get better receivers, possibly a better OC (again, we have no clue...) and I think Zach can get it done. Like, if Collaros is on the Als right now, I think they're absolute murderers.

I tend to agree but at the same time zachs tendency to throw into double coverage and seriously under throw guys has been on full display this year and last for that matter so part of me feels his shoulder is almost done. OL sucks no doubt but I don’t think that’s why he under throws guys or throws into double or triple coverage. Zach tends to still make decisions that would get rookies benched but that’s Zach right. It’s been Zach his whole time here. We just don’t have lawler or Schoen to make the circus catches anymore.

too much is being put laid at the feet of the oline for ZC issues...are they the best in the league....not anymore but regardless they are not the issues for ZC regressing and the offence in general more times than not looking disjointed, confused and lacking any real system or scheme to play off of

And until we show we can make adjustments and coaching decisions in game to take advantage of, or counter act what other teams are doing...we aint winning anything...aka coaching or lack there of

Zach is making 600 k and pretty much every other starter makes less and in some cases a lot less. He's making too much money.

and to think....same situ next yr....no way he took a huge shave....and if he due a big bonus in January...we best re-think this....No law saying u cant release him prior to if he not willing to renegotiate it

I sure we gonna re-up...or wanna BO....Demski already making nice scratch, we definitely need to sign a legit A1 receiver to compliment Wilson, and definitely need to upgrade center...and possible guard.....600k...even 500+k tied into who knows what ZC is gonna be only hamstrings us an additional yr

I know many think Kramdi is the cats patoot too, but we need to shed that 140k...along with whatever Thomas makes....which is too much even if league minimum...Wilson....T.Jones

This kind of mentality is exactly what caused the mess we’re in right now. What kind of hopium are you huffing that makes you think Zach can get it done?

Just watch him. His arm is toast. The majority of his throws are either hospital balls or complete ducks and you think it’s the personnel around him or the play calling? It doesn’t even matter if you factor in all the other struggles on offense, there’s not many throws out there that he is making confidently anymore regardless of play call, protection or personnel.

I don't think the o-line is fully to blame... on those deep balls he has time.   It's the arm and decision making that is really hurting his play.   

If he's going to make random decisions and just toss "bombs" in hopes of the receiver making a play... I'd much rather we had kept Dolegala because at least he is healthy and has a strong enough arm so that the receiver "can" make a play for the ball.     Their is a reason why noodle arm Nichols was doing short passes at the end... he knew his limitations and tried the best with what he could do.   Zach is just ... yikes.   His arm is not as shot as Nichols was... but it's definitely not strong enough for him to make those bombs.    It would have been real nice to have given Wilson some game time this season to see if he has what it takes to play.  

Next season... try to make a play for Kelly or bring in a guy like MBT as a stop gap until we find a long term solution.   Zach at 600+ next season is going to really hurt this team.

Oh there are plenty of tools around this offense....

But the biggest tool Zach is missing is his arm. He has shown an unwillingness to change the way he plays, but he doesn't have the arm anymore to be a bombs away guy.

And he is prone to dumb mistakes that get rookies benched. But he always has been. Lapo buck hogan. OC in Toronto and Hamilton. Zach makes dumb plays, like real dumb. Triple coverage. I dunno. He’s a gun slinger. It’s the mentality. Not sure he’s willing to change. Seems when he was throwing the short ones ppl weren’t happy either so it’s almost a no win situation with the O and OC and insert starting QB here.

His arms not cooked because we've seen recently that he can do it. It's just a matter of why is the offense so inconsistent (as a whole ..) ?? 

When poor Matty Ice's arm got fully toasted (after he went to Ottawa!) that was a cooked arm. That poor guy couldn't make a 10 yard toss. That was so many shots to the shoulder and he just didn't have the juice. 

But Christ we saw ZC do it two weeks ago. It's still there. With tons of zip on the ball.

He is constantly under throwing guys... how's that not cooked? Just because he will occasionally get it there if he puts everything he possibly has into it doesn't mean he still has the arm. Collaros needs to do what he did vsm Hamilton and turn into a game manager. But he's been stubborn about changing his whole career so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Zach at 600,000 is being majorly over payed. Kelly makes 615,000 but honestly he's better than Zach when healthy. Rourke makes 624,000 but hey he actually looks like a difference maker QB. Walters screwed us for next year but reupping Zach.

99% of the fan base including on here would toute his second chance as soon as he won a game.
