Let's be honest, many of us (Rebus raises his hand) are more ticked off this year because its a home Grey Cup and the team is struggling. Throw in an unspeakable horror taking place on November 16th (potentially) and you get this.

Ya that's fair... I haven't consciously been taking the home GC into account, but that probably is there somewhere. I'm just really sad because of how much I've enjoyed the top of the mountain. I don't want the good times to end. Call it being a child of divorce, if you want, but I don't want to see a "break up" on Chancellor Matheson.... Ha ha.

There's a lot to lose in blowing up a front office that has proven itself more than capable of fielding dominant teams.  I mean in my entire lifetime we've had only a handful competent GM's and head coaches.

I think it is quite likely that the key people in that front office are ready to move on though, and that's a big part of what happens next.  Doubt many people in real life have done the exact same job for 12-13 years.  It's pretty unusual.

I believe competent GM and head coach candidates are out there, even if they have not held these positions as yet. The Argos hit gold when they hired Dinwiddie and if the Bomber upper management cannot find these, they ought to step aside and let those who can do the job.

That's why you start at HC like the overwhelming majority of teams in all sports leagues do

What g.m candidate is gonna come in and agree to take over a team and not be allowed to shape it in his vision...and it starts with HC

I'm pretty confident that if the team keeps losing at least one or both of the GM & HC will be gone because the team can't go back to the fanbase giving Walters & Osh new contracts. It doesn't matter who we think could be candidates because we won't choose them. So, you can be pissed off demanding we say who should be candidates but no one cares. We can speculate but ulltimately have no say in who gets hired. .

which is fine....you adjust ratio geared toward your talent and roster...I'd easily flip ratio positions if it helps team..Thats what good smart coaches do...you dont let a talent walk out the door cause you like a guy like Thomas...Kolo....etc

then we should mesh well as basically I do too....Ratio would be changed...players to facilitate it would be targeted....no position would be penciled in pre-camp save for maybe BO but even then if we un-earthed a Mike Pringle we'd be seeing a lot of 2 back sets and BO used in slot

I've never utilized it but AFAIK you call up the office and say you want to exchange your tickets to ones in the last two games and they make it happen, and your tickets go back into general sale.
 

The frustrating thing with Willie is that he has shown flashes the past... 8 months. The Grey Cup he was lights out. In Week 9 he earned the highest PFF rank they've ever given out. And then who do you replace him with? At least some of the other underperforming veterans you have someone who can slide in or they are actually blocking someone better... which is probably a huge part of the problem.

Thanks....I know we can DONATE the tickets ( we're season ticket holders ) and they'll give us a tax receipt which is certainly better than nothing!
