I get the need to ask them but its annoying how they try to put words in the coaches mouth rather than just letting him explain

Reporters have their stories written before they even ask. They want quotes, not information.

As opposed to putting on a receiver who won’t play at all or an extra lb who won’t play. Peterson going back on makes sense for Hallett and one of schmek or Thomas off for Lawson. Woods on for prob j jones ideally since Ayers actually does contribute on teams.

Peterson was on last week

I’d go Bailey on for Hallett (see what he can do on teams at least, maybe some reps at end)

Lawson on for Thomas 

Woods on for either Ayers or J. Jones (Ideally Wilson out for a game and give Jones that spot but I know they won’t take Wilson out for anything other than injury)

yeah that makes the most sense....and be nice for the staff to see what Bailey has....he does play teams too.

J.Jones got a lot of reps on defense the one game...and was prob our best overall defensive performance of the yr....and now neither he or Ayers barely see's the field...JJones was also a key blocker on the Valval TD's as well....and has 3 yrs of CFL experience so to not use him is puzzling

Yeah I’m not sure why they don’t use Jonathan Jones more, he can play wil or MLB as well as either of the guys currently taking the most reps there.  Most likely the seniority/loyalty thing which we’ve all discussed. If he’s only on a 1-year deal I don’t see how he stays here in 26, for the good of his own career. 
 

I also would like to see what Connor Shay could do with a few reps a game at least. For a guy that highly touted to go half the year with zero defensive snaps is so strange.

Good to see Logan draw in but all of Schmekel, Lawson and Thomas on the game day roster?  I also don't get dropping Jones in favour of Weitz.

Looks like it’s hallett out lawson in. Weitz in Peterson out. Logan in. Jones out. Logan replaces the American.  I don’t get Peterson out for weitz.

I guess because Logan is now the backup RB they must feel like Weitz helps more on ST than Peterson
