He’s got an arm. That one deep shot into quadruple coverage was pretty funny though

....Is Morgan going to be the starter for sure??...Maybe Macbeth makes a miracle recovery ....In either case we might be getting a break with the fact they are on a short week ...Have to watch out for the Lemonater though...lately he's been acting like a dog peeing on a fire hydrant ...only it's at the opposition's bench...How the league let this tool back on a CFL field is just amazing....I wonder if he's putting money on the Bombers thurs.....

Not sure if he was ready but Dukes was the 3rd QB yesterday.

I have a feeling they will put MBT on the roster as they need to list 3 QBs, and have Morgan start.

While I never hope for an injury to any player, the BBs would be in a better position if Alexander isn’t ready to play.  I will now plan my eternity in hell.

There are persistent rumours out of the Big Smoke that Kelly is not responding to treatment and may be done for the year or longer. Or maybe he is just malingering- who knows?

Throws a nice ball, but can't read a D very well

They still have to pay the dude, it just hides the cap so they can pay other dudes as well... and if he comes back they'd have to pay both of them.

I'd be curious if someone like MBT who was so outspoken about players well-being last year in regards to quick turnarounds for games would be quiet about landing on an extended IR with a phantom ailment.

Yeah, I agree with most of that. I think most teams, when they have MBT starting, are in a position they don't want to be in. 

With his combination of age, experience and what I've seen of his intangibles, I don't think he will be a lot more than what we have seen from him between edmonton and toronto. If you can really cook up an offence around him that deals with his deficiencies, you can have a productive offence. But he nor that O will be what carries you to wins. 
 I would still be happy if we worked a trade for him with strevy. I like strevy, but I think our room needs a shake up and I don't think he has a chance with the disciples of lapo here. MBT on the other hand did his best work with jackson. 

They might be trying to hide him in order to protect some value in a trade, more than the money. Despite the spreading out of starters and back ups, we've seen a ton of QB injuries and some one is likely to over pay out of need later in the year.

It sucks about Alexander, this could've been a big year for him. The league needs guys like that to suceed.
