If your qb isn’t able to build chemistry with a guy that’s a problem. But you can’t stick to only guys he has spent a lot of time with and who he has it with from practice.
sweep the leg Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM Chemistry matters on scramble plays; knowing what each other are thinking when things break down. A vet like Mitchell shouldn’t have a problem figuring it out with Collaros pretty fast. It’s not like putting Mitchell in is breaking up a Jones-Stegall type of connection. All he has to do is out-produce Corcoran…

Chemistry matters in terms of guys seeing the same thing and making the same adjustments based on what the D provides. They can talk about it and have a plan but the only way to get that is repetition. Noeller 1

rebusrankin Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago We keep Ayers to play teams instead of putting on Woods and we have Fatboi and Schmek manning at DT spot? That is shitty roster management. K-Shack, Tracker and JohnnyAbonny 3

And agree...Woods for Ayers and his no snaps a game woud have made more sense and kept our best dlineman all fresh Interesting that Osh figured Korn was best option out of the gate, and showed he was basically useless, so now a DT goes down Schmeck vaults him?? If he wasnt good enough to play before an underperforming guy....Maybe go a different route...like try Bailey in that roster spot to see what he brings....or add Woods in lieu of Ayers for dline depth?....other than that I lie what we have on roster this game based on what we have to choose from.... 1 minute ago, rebusrankin said: We keep Ayers to play teams instead of putting on Woods and we have Fatboi and Schmek manning at DT spot? ShyGuy Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Did something happen to Lofton for him to end back on the 6 game or is that a misprint?

voodoochylde Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Him, Bridges and a myriad number of other guys on this roster are guys you should be looking to push and move on from if possible. Their upside is capped. Their limitations are known. These are guys that "we're comfortable with" and we've kept them for no other reason but that. Lofton was terrible in Saskatchewan and he wasn't much better here. Randolph taking over for him was addition by subtraction rebusrankin, Piggy 1 and Noeller 3
rebusrankin Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Seriously somebody actually tweeted that Calgary having VA+Philpott+Barnes is a huge boost? What's his next scoop, water is wet? wbbfan 1

So I'm pleasantly surprised they kept the much better T on the roster. Lofton is a solid guy to have on the PR as well, especially while Venterpool is hurt. Because he's average at RT, a body at LT, and a good guard, once Vanterpool is back to 100% though, I'd rather see an NFL cut young T with upside brought in to groom on the PR. Its odd though, they can look at guys like Rando, Lofton, Vanterpool, and Wallace, then make good roster decisions on the OL. But look at Kola, who can't even reliably snap the ball this year, and continues to make bad decisions. Idk how you justify that internally as a coaching staff and to the players. Roster is solid. Would've liked to see Ball come off instead of Cobb, though. Dropping an IMP Lber for Woods would've been huge with Lawson hurt. A DI wr would be nice. but we don't have any one other than the fresh rookie, and we wouldn't use them in the O any way. last week we saw a good chunk of Kelly deep in the dime package. I wonder if we will see vaval get some of those dime/wil snaps. Be nice to see Shay/Smith get some of those. Maybe if Bonds continues to stink, he will be the next DB to "go down" / get pulled for vaval. Piggy 1, rebusrankin and Booch 2 1

I got to hang out with them for awhile while they walked around the mall. Teppo was giving it to Keith as he had just signed his big contract after Chicago tried to grab him and Winnipeg was forced to match the offer. That was pretty fun.
