JohnnyAbonny Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago It’s early still but the smoke outside is brutal right now. I’m not sure at all about this game being played tonight. Bigblue204 and wbbfan 1 1

captaincanuck12 Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago Hopefully they don't make this sellout crowd wait till 11 PM only to announce it'll be played tomorrow. Glad to see the defense getting a shakeup. Not sure why Hogan's leash is very long right now... only logical explanation is that he blackmailing O'Shea. Let's see some Strevy magic tonight. #forthew wbbfan, Colin Unger and rebusrankin 3

Should be able to make a call by like 4 PM before people start traveling to the stadium. rebusrankin, Piggy 1, GCJenks and 4 others 7

After travelling to TO for that debacle last week we just decided that we need a for sure “Go” by about that time or we’re not driving the hour + to the game tonight. wbbfan, rebusrankin, Mark H. and 1 other 3 1

Atomic Posted 15 hours ago Author Report Posted 15 hours ago I could see there being a delay to 8:30 or 9:00 but not an outright cancellation or postponement. Bigblue204 and Goalie 2

On my drive to work I could clearly see the smoke in the distance. But I couldn't smell it at all. At the start of the fires it was like I could taste the smoke it was so pungent. Ya the smoky smell and air quality aren't always linked. Was really visible looking towards the buildings downtown this morning. Hope that wind keeps blowing! Bigblue204 1
voodoochylde Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Had some Echo Bike intervals on deck in the garage this morning and while I didn’t notice a smell heading out there, I’m certainly feeling it now - it’s not pleasant. Hopefully things improve significantly because I couldn’t imagine playing in that right now. wbbfan and BigBlueFanatic 2
Goalie Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago Air quality is a 7. The other day it was a 9. Regina game got postponed at a 6. I think maybe when sun goes down the game begins. Colin Unger 1
Goalie Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago But I’m in the north of Winnipeg and the stadium in the south so who knows.

Like I said could be different by the stadium but once the sun starts going down the air quality tends to also. Although not always. We will see.
Atomic Posted 13 hours ago Author Report Posted 13 hours ago It's down to 8 at the stadium and dropping hourly. No risk to the game being played at this point. https://map.purpleair.com/air-quality-standards-aqhi-plus?opt=%2F1%2Flp%2Fa10%2Fp604800%2FcC0#11.02/49.863/-97.1222 Tracker, Noeller, voodoochylde and 2 others 2 1 2

wbbfan Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Keys to the game big Chris becomes big time Chris. He had a good game in week 2, expectations for him should be high when starting with prep time. This is a big chance for him, only so many left. back to bully ball. Brady has been as good as ever just hasn’t been able to get the ball consistently. Gotta keep feeding Brady and mix in Cooley. That’ll keep us out of second and long. new look D, a lot of shuffling with existing pieces. They know well how Toronto whipped them and should be prepared to punch back. Players to watch, secondary, Lofton, Corcoran, jjones, and person. plus, vaval, still has his job if he can refind his early success maybe break one and secure the ball maybe he will keep it. and Hogan, who is pretty close to the hot seat with the fans at this point.
