I think if we handle and frustrate the Elks D-line and run game early we should take this one with little resistance, but IF that D-line and/or running game get some traction against us, they could make it a game.

I don't want either their D-line which "should be" really good based on personelle or their run game get any momentum. We know If we can handle the Edm. defensive front the backend isn't as strong, and Ford while an amazing sandlot player isn't going to beat anyone playing a passing game in the pocket.

Add in 30,000 plus fans, and perfect weather, we should be set up for a "happy ending"

Looks like close to another sellout

Now we just need the eight other teams to follow suit. Paging Mr. Commissioner.

I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of adjustments the offense can make. A+ for Hogan week 1, call it a generous C+ game two. Really want to see Schoen pop off as he’s been good not great so far. Hopefully Cooley continues to get a little bit of a bigger role today, and wondering what kind of plan we’re going to have for a good Elks D-Line. Hopefully quicker, shorter passes to open up the intermediate to deep throws instead of Zach chucking it deep in double coverage.

Edmontons D line is the only thing I’d be concerned over. I hope the OL can handle Ceresna, he’s given them fits his whole career.
I see this as a closer game than the spread. Short week and all that. Think we take over in the 4th but the Elkses keep it tight.

Keys to the game

ol. Pass pro especially, but also opening gaps for the run game.

Zach get sharp, and quick. He had some pretty brutal throws last week. We need him to play up to expectations not down to a bad team.

Wr core step up. Keric has stepped up but as of yet no one else has and we need a lot more to elevate their level of play.

players to watch, the front 6, vaval, Wallace, both RBs, vaval, ayers.

My keys...O-line needs to continue to work in the fluid blok schemes...move the pocket....keep with the blocking switches they been doin

Off. plan to focus on possession and quick passing game...even some tempo....Mix in Strev...use of both backs

Defense needs to use the more athletic front....mix up coverages and use different responsibilities for back 8 within the same look....Will confuse Ford and cause multiple turnovers

Foot to throat all game...even if up by 3 scores by half...end game up by 6....
