  • Because the DL depth sucks on the depth chart... they've got a linebacker listed as the only backup DE... they've got 3 Canadian DTs for some reason instead of proper DE depth. We can quibble about wh

A week ago, the Rider media & fans were bragging on social media that the Riders had the best qb room in the CFL. Think again, Priders.

If Harris goes down Sask is hooped.

130 yards. Dink dunk. All game.

What a game.

Loved:

Streveler. Vaval. Peterson. Wheatfall. The holes that beastly o-line opened all night long.

Hogan’s playcalling

The BC offense looked a lot like some of the Bomber offences over the last few years. Big difference is they have no Brady and no Zack.

Interesting that in the rematch next week on the left coast it’s prob Zach vs Masoli. Wonder if we see an air show next week. I feel Zach has the chip on the shoulder again.

That's his game. Doesn't push the ball downfield.

Masoli literally just took the snap, turned his hips and threw some wild pass.

He looks like he can't move at all.  I'm not sure how anyone would put him out there.

I think Pierce will play Rourke unless he can't throw at all. It's 9 days away. Enough time for treatment everyday.

Person is versatile no. Lb and de really. Be ok to get him on. Bailey I don’t think stood out as much as person did. How do you get him on.

Person is a true edge rusher...and in U.S was used in a 4 linebacker set on the outside.. but that's also cause he athletically gifted...he's that rotational end that would compliment WJ and Vaughters perfectly..plus he could also drop off into coverage

We really need to use 3 Canadians on the oline cause it's raping a key guy from our defence

He looks legit cooked but who they start if rourke can’t.

But our oline looked much improved and our D was pretty much lights out minus 2 3 plays really.

Trevor Lawrence's other old backup, Chase Brice.

If you want to get paid as a DB come play wide side corner for the Bombers.

I’m not changing the ol we saw tonight (unless Cooley is in for Oliviera). They were very good. If we decide we need another rusher, it would have to be Ayers coming out. Vaval and Griffin probably have spots looked in next week.

Hogan’s playcalling

Big time, Hogan passes his first test. He called to Strevs strengths, didn't push him too hard, very efficient play calling.

This shoulder chip better be the size of that catfish statue in Selkirk

I think that boat just sailed, haven't seen an O-line that good in many years, just what they need to keep Zach safe and handle the CFL's top D-lines.  Benefits the running game as well, which is the driver of the Bomber offence, with 3 strong RB's on tap they're going to march at will and be virtually unstoppable, should be well over 100 yds. every game.

Betts did exactly nothing, in that game

I actually completely forgot about him until reading your post.  He was completely invisible.

Goalie is a legend in his own mind... ;)

How the hell was that hit on Strev by Betts after he threw the ball away while scrambling in the 4th not a penalty? The ball was well away when Betts hit him. The reffing in this league...ugh...

The parabolic mic picked up Streveler giving Betts **** in the fourth quarter. That's okay, Betts isn't even a Top 5 DE in this league. All he can do is rush the passer & we pretty much shut him down last night. He makes way too much money for what he gives the Lions.

There’s no way the OL changes aside from injury.

Take out Sterns, play one less American on D, drop Ayers or the returner….all things that happen before the OL changes.

Just had 450 yards of offense with basically one half of Streveler in rhythm (never affected by rush on a drop back) and all but one drive with a guy who was playing against the Bisons 8 months ago at tailback.

We can live without edge rush.  OL is priority 1000%.
