Awards, standings, the team, whatever your pleasure.

Standings :

Winnipeg

Bc

SSk

Cal

Edm

I see us winning in the 12 +/-1 game range again in a tight western race. I think Calgary is in the playoff race and will go right down to the wire. I think SSK and bc jockey for 2nd in the west, and bc wins by 1 game.

Montreal

Toronto

Ottawa

Hamilton

Toronto's season losses slow them down at the start of the year, but their endless spring of dynamic import talent at DL helps them peak at the right time, yet again. Montreal, I think, will start out well and then close the season on a low note. Dru brown might be in the MOP race when he puts Ottawa on his back again and drags them to the playoffs. Hamilton is in a rebuilding year that they still won't commit to.

For us, I think we will flash brilliance early on, but not protect the QB as we need to, until after LD. I think our D will top the league and be even better than last year. I think some people in BC will wish they hired Hogan, not Buck, before the year is out.

I think Vaval will be our MOR, and most of the rest of the awards candidates for us will be repeats.

Schoen leads the league in receiving and TDs again, Brady in rushing yards.

I think BC comes to regret the major decisions they made this off-season, namely in Buck and letting Vaj go.

Fajardo and MBT are both starting by week 5.

VAJ goes on an MOP-level heater to start the year but cools off with the weather.

Harris gets hurt sometime in the first third of the season.  McCheese gets a new topping -- manure.

Riders might compete,  unfortunately they chose a rickety old wagon named Harris to get them to the playoffs.

Fell short again.

That is a choice...

I have more faith in VA than most.... And I've never been sold on Rourke or Harris. Ford can't be a consistent pocket QB until he proves otherwise... So I put my faith in VA and Collaros.

I mean sure maybe, Calgary has turned over a lot.... but man they got a lot to prove at this point.

Same boat here. I think Calgary and Ottawa will be in a similar situation. Very good Qbing, good offence, not a lot of support. But I think both will be better than Hamilton was last year.

yeah, I think that VA still has a bunch to prove ... he's never been clutch when the chips are down ... but no complaints about his play during the regular season.

Rourke put up a lot of numbers against shitty teams in his golden run.  Maybe the dude isn't just a flash in the pan, but he has to prove that yet.

Harris will get hurt and that's the end of the Roughriders.

The Elks will go as far as Fajardo will take them.  That might be a surprising distance.  His teams win games they shouldn't.

Winnipeg 11-7

Edmonton 9-9

Calgary 9-9

BC 9-9

Riders 7-11

Toronto 12-6

Montreal 10-8

Ottawa 8-10

Hamilton 6-12

Rourke shows marked improvement from last year, but not at his 2022 success, he has BC in the mix, but isn't in the running for any awards

Ford struggles at QB for Edm. they ride him through the struggles but eventually concede to sit him....by then Edm. is all but out of contention

VAJ manages to keep Cal. in contention and puts together a solid season in Cowtown saving Dickies job

Harriss, leads the league in completion percentage to start the season, and leads the Riders offence to efficiency, while the defense carry's them.....until the o-line woes become too much and he takes too many hits and ends up injured again...and then the Riders falter opening up Rourke, and VAJ to compete in the standings

Strev. wins a gutsy game in week two and Zach takes his team to the top of the West again

Dru, lights it up on his way to MOP

Bo nips at Dru's heals all season

Kelly, pisses off Bomber fans by lighting our defence up and puts up stats but he leads the Boatmen to the middle of the pack, and has at least one off field distraction

Davis starts out strong, Philpot get's knicked, teams figure him out and Mtrl. scrambles at QB

I feel like it’s a parity year. I don’t really see anyone head and shoulders above the rest. Bombers/Argos slightly above and everyone else pretty well even.

Bombers - until it’s proven otherwise, the west goes through Winnipeg

lions - just the best of the rest in the west really. I question buck as head coach tho  I could see them crashing and burning hard tho and dropping

elks I just feel they spent all that cash so

Stamps - 24 new players from last season  means gonna take time to gel

Riders  - I think Harris gets hurt and maier sux

Als still the best of the east

Redblacks - only cuz I like dru brown

ticats - so many former bombers

argos - think this is the year the constant purging catches up. Plus arbuckle man.

Kudos for doing what many predictors fail to do: have the correct total of games league-wide, i.e. wins and losses both add up to 81. Well done!

Poor Rourke. He’s like the cfl version of Shedeur sanders. Getting glazed so hard by all the “experts” he’s bound to fail. Whoever the experts glaze, just know they don’t have a chance. Roland Milligan ffs.
