I am not an expert or even a follower of college or u sport football. I only go by what the consensus of the 8 or so pundits who go deep into this stuff is and sort of take their average. Based on that I think the Argos had a good draft day... No receivers was the only surprise for me, but I suppose that with 5 national receivers on the roster that it wasn't a great need.

I really like your guys draft. People should look long and hard when the Argos are drafting dl high up.  I like Shand, ojo, Coakes, and Pyle. Why you and every one passed on Newell is beyond me though.

The running back from U of A who tested insane at 6' 220 went undrafted.  4.41 25 reps at 225.

I’m sure that guy will get a camp invite. CFL doesn’t often pass on athlete like that.

Great example of what the GMs/coaches know and what we don't know.

It's actually interesting to me he was still picked that high.  Because now he's out of football for a year before he gets to come in to the CFL camp.  He's not going to have any opportunity aside from training himself to develop as a football player.  Have to kind of hope he keeps his head in.

Johnny Augustine also went undrafted in 2017.

He also had a 40 soo slow you couldn’t even say he ran. He wade millered that time. If came out the way he was when he left here, first round pick.

Wonder if he’s eligible for ufl or arena or some thing.
Honestly, still reasonable to take the guy but probably went too high.

All makes a lot of sense now.

Thats an assload of substances all in system at same time and several of which just negate each other and only thing they doing is putting undue stress on his liver and body's own testosterone production...100 percent gaurantee he's shut down and on some kind of...or better be on a PCT of some kind to kick start his system again....

With the half-life of the SARMS he obviously was dosing at combine time for the combine to up his numbers...Likey the Anavar too (Oxanandrolone)....Be interesting to see how he comes into camp for 2026

Dude can play....and if he is not totally a fraud then it's probably much the same as picking a guy who you knew was gonna exhaust all NFL interest for a yr before showing up...this instance it's a certainty he will be in camp fr 2026 as no NFL team will even give him e second thought now....

That was my thought. In a backwards kind of way, it actually makes him a "safer" pick.

That doesn’t seem like a thing the trinity would prob be ok with and honestly, I’m good with their choice there.

Johnny Augustine wasn’t really good tho. Ok special teams guy but definitely not a starter.

5 yard average is starter material.  He had the unfortunate luck of playing behind amazing backs.

Part of their ignorance in obtaining best talent too in this perception that only a certain type of person fits the bill...talent is talent ...are they all choir boys...no...but as long as it's not something socially unacceptable and bypassing a guy is just foolish...if your culture is what you profess it will sort itself out...that thinking then should Harris have not been cut then?? And after the fact..watching his production...physical appearance and quick body break down...he was in my opinion using something...and as a strength and conditioning coach I know as a fact there are tons of guys on various things ...throughout the cfl ..ncaa and nfl...it's never going away

Failed to take the role in 2022 when it was an open competition between him and Brady. They also split carries the first six games of that year. Guy just isn't a starter.

He lost out to the MOP...... I don't think anyone in the last 3 years could beat out Brady for a starters job.
