It seems some people just can't enjoy both. They have such an inferiority complex about our game that they have to throw insults out to try & convince themselves & others that our game is bett

  • I’m looking more at the play by play announcers and can’t understand why they’re talking about the game, players and backgrounds. Where’s the nicknames? Where’s the deep, deep analysis of what the pla

I've never been to an NFL game but I got a similar experience when I painted our living room and then sat down and watched it dry.  Same excitement but tickets were way cheaper.

We're men in the CFL,ain't got no time for no hole

So how long after the game does the NFL throw Winnipeg under the bus.

Gruden has a permanent "I'm So Pissed Off" look on his face.

You wont be seeing a exhibition NFL game ever again in Winnipeg and I'm okay with that, poorly organized, poorly priced and the teams complaining about the field

Raiders were good with it. Packers weren't.

Its all just so dumb tho.

Right from the start.. 80 yard field? Not surprised cuz this whole promotion or lack of to this now.. Just Gong.

Screw this On Ice entertainment.

What I don't get is when they had the Bills playing at SkyDome they never had an issue with the goalposts. So, who's fault is it anyway?

Gruden made a comment earlier today about his concerns with the field. He sure looks like he can't wait to get outta here after the game. We may hear more about this fiasco on Hard Knocks.

Is there any explanation on how they ended up with an 80yd field?

You'd think that wouldn't be a problem.

Not sure why or what the issues are with field other than the goal post patch.

The field turf installed at IG is the same brand and spec as about 90 percent of the pro and college stadiums in North America

I think all the CFL club field turf types are the same in except for Mtl and and BC..and obviously T.O's natural surface

That certainly doesn't look dangerous but then I'm no expert.

Saw a tweet from the Packers radio play by play guy, who said the field was fine and NFL quality except for the patch.

Some of the concern was that the patch was not stable, again you think this would of been noticed days ago.

Nice tribute to the history of the Raiders with Gruden. Except the team is moving to Vegas next season. Thanks for the memories, Oakland & **** you. Lol.

Again

The NFL may never come back to Winnipeg but for sure it's never coming back to Oakland.

Raiders? And patches?

Of course they were good with it.

I seriously dont understand the bitching,a wet grass turf is more dangerous than a 2x2 patch. Again, the Raiders play on a beach and the packers dont seem to have an issue with that.

If they checked the field last night they may have cancelled.

All the announcers are sure making sure that WINNIPEG is mentioned at least once every few minutes...prominently.

Not unless Oakland responds to extortion and ponies up several hundred million dollars for a new stadium and concedes all revenues from it to the Raiders. BTW: is everyone aware that the NFL has the status of a not-for-profit organization despite earning hundreds of millions per year and having several billions in the bank?

Pisses me off that we had such a loser promoting this game. How bad it's making us look.

They would of had to pony up a lot more then that, the Raiders new park in Vegas will cost at a minimum 1.8 Billion.

The whole city works for minimum wage in the gaming industry or in the casinos. How will they afford season tickets?

No, we don't. Everyone is blaming "Winnipeg" but it has nothing to do with us.

That promoter better not show his face in Winnipeg again.
