October 31, 20187 yr Micha Johnson could win over Bighill he has 13 sacks as a dt and has been pretty domimate this year.
October 31, 20187 yr I think the league MVP will be a defensive player this time. Bighill has changed the Bombers D, gone from league worst, for years, to at this point one of the top in the league. I think he's the league MVP. Tait......."Sayles ranks third on the club in defensive plays in his 15 games played, 14 of them starts, with 65 tackles, two forced fumbles, three interceptions and a fumble recovery. October 31, 20187 yr I could see Masoli winning MOP. Good stats, and his team is playoff bound. Not a slight at Reilly who was still great this season but that might convince voters to turn the other way. Bighill should be the MODP. He came not only as advertised but better. Harris will also finish the season as the leading rusher so I think he should win MOC.. but Sinoploli May take it as well.

Harris for sure.
October 31, 20187 yr Masoli shouldn't get rewarded for stats he put up against sub-.500 teams, and playing the Argos 3 times. Threw almost half his TD passes vs the Argos. His stats against playoff teams are not good. It would be embarrassing for the league if he's MOP.

I've never heard of a team nominating one player over the other to save money on incentives. If any team did that then that would be terrible. Powell was the better player all season. Harris stunk on more than a few occasions.

November 2, 20187 yr I think Bighill has a very good chance of winning it this season, his excellent play has been noticed outside of Winnipeg and with the collapse of Reilly and Mitchell I don't see them having great last impressions on the voters.

I was genuinely curious... and I found a couple: 1975 - Willie Burden (RB) CGY, missed the playoffs with a 6-10 record 1977 - Jimmy Edwards (RB) HAM, missed the playoffs with a 5-11 record I think that's it going all the way back to 1953. So as good as Reilly's numbers are, odds are against him winning MOP after missing the playoffs.
