A voice broke the silence in the classroom that morning. A teacher, Mrs. Harrison, who, if not as lost in thought as Spooner, was at least as hungry. She asked her student if he wanted to go for lunch. She took him to an all-you-can-eat buffet (A wise move, all things considered).

Spooner still marvels at the mountain of shrimp that she put on her plate. He told her she could get up and get more if she wanted. Why get up, she asked him. An unexpected lesson in an unexpected situation. There were many of them for him.

lol.  yea its been a rowdy start.. can't wait to see what else is coming down the pipe.   the Gbill part tho is absolute gold. 

Larry Raper makes the team and we get to hear Rod Black say "Raper" all season.  Cant wait for Rod to use that name in one of his dumb catch phrases

Larry Raper needs a name change, maybe Larry Rapman, Larry the Rapper, Larry the receiver guy.

Odds are he's the player least likely to get his surname on a personalized licence plate.

I know seems obvious, but have we actually confirmed his name is pronounced the way it's spelled?... I mean, it could be "rapper" or "ray-PAR"

Went back and looked, apparently Raper was on Saskatchewan's PR last year as a DB.

I heard they cut him after they found out his name didn't match his personality. They were looking for recruits that had actually committed crimes and were not named after them.
