Well .. the Combine list of participants is out. Pretty weak showing, to be honest. Lots of top prospects not attending.

NOT ATTENDING: Auclair, Senior, Gray, Herdman, Ankou, Ekakitie, Simonise ... that's all of the top 5 prospects, as well as a handful of other ones.

Notables that ARE attending ... Alex Singleton's brother is coming, I'm curious to see how he does. Bladek, Mulumba, Luke, Woods, Boateng

I still think Bladek at #1 but maybe you take Vandevoort #1 and let Bladek go #2 to Saskatchewan.

I would be okay with flipping #1 to Hamilton if we're not intending on taking Vandevoort there.

I would want #4 and #13 in exchange.

 

No reason if they have interest in him that he is not coming to Winnipeg for a private work out.

I don't think we need more picks.  Honestly running out of room on our roster in most spots.  We'd literally draft guys and release many of them and lose the picks.  Maybe for #4 and their next couple 2nds or a first in 18 or 19.

Still prefer we keep the pick, just wondering if someone would come in with an offer we couldn't refuse (or where we couldn't still get 'our' gu).

Harris is 29... I'd stockpile as many picks as possible, will need to change ratio soon.

29 isnt a plan to replace the NI age. Not to mention there are 2 rbs that should be available with a depth pick that would be fantastic to round out our back depth and play teams. Plus our ni depth on D.

Good lord, the dropoff from 6 to 14 is unbelievable.....just, why on earth.......?

Right now, we have #1, #6 and #15... that's a legitimate shot at 3 high end players... I would rather have that then stockpile a bunch of 3rd and 4th round picks...

If you were drafting for the best of the 2017 roster all things being equal you'd want a receiver and probably a DB that could play...like Wright and an interior DL.  Our OL is 7 deep with Couture and Neufeld in reserve, really 8 deep with Foketi.  We have a ton of LB's too.  Harris' long term backup is an import, so you can counter that with a second receiver and then interchange a DI-Normand with that receiver and the import tailback.
