Heading in now from Victoria Beach, but looking forward to the game. Weather could be sketchy late afternoon/early evening with severe thunderstorm activity in the forecast. Here's hoping it's tapered off by kickoff!

They already have a double header on Thursday night.  I doubt they can pull off a third game on the same night.   Fridays open as there are no games scheduled which I can only assume is because of the Olympics.

Don't think Hamilton would be to keen to have to come back for a Saturday or Sunday game

Lots of lightning in the North East area of town where I'm at.....

There has been lightning here at the stadium as well. 

Let's get this game going!  I don't want to chance collaros being ready for the rescheduled game!

This Finnish rally car racing I am watching that ESPN is showing as filler until the game is back on is actually kind of cool and addictive...I wonder if Selanne is in this race as I know he used to compete in this stuff...

I don't remember that one, and I never missed a game in those years, but there was a game against the other Roughriders (Saskatchewan) in 1986 I believe where lightning hit the northwest corner roof at the old stadium - THAT cleared the field fast and they waited for about 15-20 minutes and a downpour and then played on.

They cancel games all the time, it's really quite common

With tomorrow being a work day will there be 10,000 fans in the stands to watch?

Even if it starts the first sign of lightning within 50 km brings it to a screeching halt.

short of playing a mid night game no. had to go through the city and south just got home. Just out side the city and east the lightning has highly frequent. And for about a half hour south. The rain and clouds only gets worse too. Unless they play at midnight.

hasnt been a stop to lightning 50km east or south of the stadium in idk how long.

Still way too much lightning here in the South part of the city .. can't see those timetables holding.

lightning moving on....but wind is swirling round.......looks like O and S...will be in the wee hours  of  the morning. ..
