I'll never cease to be amazed at someone's willingness to continually be the bearer of bad news that everyone cringes to hear from.
We get it. There are negatives to go with the positives. Congratulations for being the hero nobody wants for bringing them all to light for those of us who are too blind (see: uninterested) to constantly dwell on the bad things.

What if you're down by a touchdown and you are driving the field trying to match and Deon Beasley gets a pick-6?

I don't see the Riders winning even half of their games. They've already let 2 winnable ones get away and I'm fairly certain that they will end up last in the West. But... 
Either the Riders are no where near as bad as a lot of folks around here think they are or we are no where near as good as those same folks think we are. If their crappy kicker could simply make 'easy' FG's, they'd most likely be 1-0-1, good enough to be tied for 2nd place in the West, which would leave us 0-0-1 and on the bottom. 
Notes:
It doesn't mean everyone else is good and the Bombers are bad. It doesn't mean that I'm unhappy that we won. It doesn't mean that I was unhappy in the 90's when we won big. It doesn't mean that I wonder why folks think I'm negative. It doesn't mean anything at all about all the other QB's in the league. Did I miss any? 
 
 

That should be the proper way to view it.  No one is talking about Khari's time as a backup in BC or Nichols few starts in Edmonton.
Nichols has a ways to go to surpass Glenn simply because he hasn't been here long enough.  Glenn's 2007 season was the best of his career, and as much as people here don't like to give him credit for anything, he had a fantastic season for us.  Nichols has yet to have a season for us.  Seems pretty simple.
Nichols is playing great, but there's no reason to start comparing him to the greats yet.

The post I quoted was talking about Glenn in his prime.
I can't put any QB who hasn't played a full season ahead of a guy who brought us to the Grey Cup.
That said, I do really like Matt Nichols, but we can't use what we think he might do to put him ahead of a guy who has already done it.

Yeah Doug Berry should definitely not be on there.  27-26-1 with 3 playoff appearances and a Grey Cup berth over 3 seasons.

Take out Berry (Above .500 and we made the playoffs with him).

Agreed, both Nichols and LaPo need to be smarter.  Late 3rd Q is not the time to mount consecutive 2 and outs because they're looking for home-runs on broken coverage and getting sacked in the process giving up field position.  Go for first downs, use Harris and wear down the clock.  They let Sask. back in the game when they had control and should have put them away.

Lots of stuff to complain about but in the end, we won the game. So I don't care tonight.

Nice little shot from Derek Taylor to Carter last night after his 2 targets, 2 drops performance. Guess Carter got on DT on Twitter a little while back, when DT didn't call him the best receiver in the league. Gave it to him pretty good, and DT last night had a good little shot at him for it. Played both U.S and Canadian ball...NCAA and went to 3 camps but 8 surgeries on my right knee two of which were reconstructions, and 2 on my left didn't allow me to pass any physicals anymore to the point were i was un-insurable so I decided to join the real world
Used to train with Quincy Williams, James West, Ty Jones and Davis Bovell, and was involved with player development, training and conditioning in San Jose, Oakland and San Fran area.
Worked at regional combines and Pro Days at San Jose State, Sacramento State and a smaller junior college (Diablo Valley)
Thus a bit of insider knowledge about Charlie Roberts and Taman's keen eye and not wanting to bring him here and saying he would never make it due to his size, small hands and no speed...He was recruited basically by Ryland Wickman insistence of him  being brought in to camp.

It's literally one of the more interesting discussions we've had on this board in the past little while, but if you don't like hearing about the processes of a front office from a guy like Booch who would most certainly know ... to each their own.
