I agree. I’m not a Bo Levi fan, but you have to show you’re capable of being successful over a full season before you can be ranked ahead of the proven all stars.

The way you talk about players is so weird, especially for a guy who has been fairly open about how they don’t think their son got a fair shot during their collegiate career.
You don’t think these men exhibit character or leadership? Why? Because they appear to have made a personal choice based on how they want to run their life? I don’t understand why you choose to continually project your wants and desires as a fan of a sports franchise onto these guys who are literally just quitting a job. That’s all it is for them. This doesn’t have to be “they don’t have the character to persevere through a rough patch”, this literally could (and likely is) as simple as “they don’t wanna get paid a low salary to be far away from their families when they could earn equivalent or better back home”
(PS not too torn up Wilson left, I think he was option number 4 at this point anyways and I like that it forces the team’s hand to NOT go with the established player)

Elgersma looked legit. Can make all the throws and easily. Wilson? Not so much. Probably saw the new kid come in and throw 40 yard darts downfield and said yeah I’m out of here. Oh well. lol at MBT or any other veteran cfl backup. Why would they do that. Why does the QB need cfl experience cuz the QBs out there are not potential starters. Why bring in guys you know who will never start. If Zach gets banged up it’s TE or BP time. Crazy thought. Maybe just maybe TE and or BP can be starters in the league. Worst case they are crappy cfl backups who just are backups their whole career or maybe they can be franchise QBs. Cuz CFL desperately needs new blood at the QB position, recycling never was and never will be’s is just crazy talk.

Perkins was signed with the hope that he could fill the Streveler role. Whether that’s purely SY or the primary backup will likely depend on how the preseason goes, but I’m putting my money on Ermergerdsma.

Elgersma has been getting second team reps the entire camp. Perkins can be the SY guy and veteran ban-aid if needed. Thorne could have been our PR guy - but I guess didn't want to. But Wilson was getting cut if he didn't force himself into the back-up role and he didn't. So he beat Walters to the punch.

Honestly that is fantastic news. If he has that kind of mentality then buh-bye. Always thought he would never develop.

You have to have those glue guys. They make a difference. It can be argued we may have too many but if you have none you are the Craig Dickenson Riders...lots of talent half arsing it.

Cobb is practicing in Demski's spot and Corcoran is filling in for Cobb at field WR. Clercius is at SB on the second team. We'll see how that shakes out when camp is over.
