I honestly want to say that Zach Anderson is our best D-lineman.... but I'm afraid to.... cuz Bryant Turner will find out.... and he'll find me.... and as we all know he has a very particular set of skills... skills that he has acquired over a very long career... skills that make him a nightmare for people like me...

The Neufeld trade is simple. The Roughriders traded a guy they couldn't use in 2013 or 2014 for a guy they could use in 2013.
We traded a guy who wasn't going to make a difference in 2013 and who would be gone in 2014 for a guy we desperately needed in 2014, and we threw in a draft pick who became a roster DL for the saskies.

In 2013, the Riders won that trade.
In 2014, the Bombers win that trade.
In 2015 and onwards, we'll compare Neufeld + our fourth-round pick vs. Ainsworth and see who won the trade. I've got a feeling that unless Ainsworth becomes someone special, we'll be pleased with this trade in 2015.

Yes.  The industry of sports figured out how to monetize television broadcasts, led by the NFL.  It's worth more to have the skyrocketing rights fees and eyeballs for advertising than the couple thousand people (which could be less or more depending on the city) who might choose to go to a game if they can't watch it on TV.
 
IMO, several teams are missing an opportunity to get more butts in seats.  Bombers are a prime example.  Those corner endzone seats that never sell should go for $10-$15.  Get people in the building, get them buying concessions and merchandise, maybe even provide a good enough experience that someone comes back in a more expensive seat.  Better to sell that seat for $10 than have it sit empty for 9 games.

"swaggerville" started as a quiet internal thing.... the guys would talk about it here and there but it seemed like more of a locker room thing than anything.... that I was ok with... anything to bring the guys together.... then it got out of hand.... with help from the media.... and everyone knows the rest of that story...

That's exactly it... I've never understood why some people were so up in arms over hiring Buck as a RB coach.... "But he never played RB!!!" they said   

Our overall run game is definitely a concern right now... the return of Chris Greaves will help.... but there were a couple time I distinctly remember Grigsby making the wrong read... maybe it's time to see what Cotton brings

I'd guess most teams would rather wait to see what shakes out of the NFL if they are looking to upgrade at import tackle...
 
And the circumstances around the Neufeld pick were completely different.... he was a back up (injured) with Sask and they would likely lose him to Ottawa since he wouldn't have been protected....whether Taman makes that trade or not Neufeld, is not on their 2014 roster... a tiny bit of research or just a basic memory coulda figured this out...
