That's interesting. Chad Owens must be confused. I know he is Hawaiian, so he must be have ukulele and Kuale held in the same esteem. Both are smaller instruments of sorts, that aspire to be more than what they are. While they both can make noise, it's debatable whether they can be seen as useful…or just noise-makers. Uncalled-for low blow! The ukulele is a perfectly fine instrument

I find it ironic that Baltimore Colts moved to Indianapolis, the Baltimore CFLers (with the attempted Colts name) changed into the Baltimore Stallions, and then were kicked out by the move of Cleveland to Baltimore. Now the Indianapolis Colts can actually be called the Indianapolis CFLers with the roster including Freeman, Muamba, Carter, and Heenan. The Colts have been active in signing CFLers for a while, ever since Cal Murphy was part of their scouting staff.... I don't think Ryan Grigson (Colts current GM) was with the team when Cal was there but obviously there are still scouts who worked with him and liked his methods...

I'm no amateur scout but that kid looks like he has A VERY LONG WAY to go if he projects to have any sort of success in football... I would guess his first course of action would be to get in shape... probably could afford to lose about another 50 pounds... but you can't teach size and apparently he has a good attitude so you never know what he could amount to...

But we're one day closer to spring than we were yesterday plus we've had a pretty decent winter so far, particularly compared to last winter.True.. Some silver linings to the offseason clouds I suppose it has been an exceptional winter so for.. Only downer is, all the warm weather really makes -20 feel like -40 lol. I think to myself "it's so cold.." Then I think "but it's really not.. Man up!" I know this isn't supposed to be a weather discussion.... but for those of us who do a lot of highway driving.... this melting and freezing back and forth hasn't been great.... ideal winter for me would be consistently between -10 to -15 with just enough snow for a little ground insulation ... no one like frozen pipes

Would be nice to have two legit long-snappers though. Look what happened last year when Wild got injured...cost us about a TD every game while Wild was out because of poor long-snapping. I wonder if the Bombers have interest in Jordan Matechuk...interesting he hasn't re-signed with BC yet. Problem is I'm not sure Jones qualifies as a "legit long-snapper"

I'm surprised there aren't more NFL fans here.... I love the Bomber #1 over everything else... no question about it... but when it comes down to watching football on Sundays in the fall... I'll take NFL over a non-Bomber CFL game.... actually every year I gripe about the Banjo Bowl being on the same sunday as opening weekend... obviously I've never missed one, but I'd prefer it on Saturday night so I have sunday to enjoy opening weekend...

This is actually the best thing to happen to the Riders... they don't have the cap space to sign him to a big deal now... so they hope he'll be gone for a couple years to give them time to recover... when he's ready to return to the CFL they'll write a big fat cheque.... hope he makes it in the NFL... just so this back-fires on the riders

I was doing some browsing over at riderfans and the consensus seems to mostly be disappointment... no one is ready to blow up the entire team yet, but no one terribly thrilled with this move.... Common comment :"if he stays healthy, he could be a a good one"... sound familiar??
