I've been thinking about this a lot recently... but more about next season... with the way Legget has played at SAM/DIME I wonder if they would consider a guy Like Garrett Waggoner at safety and move Randle back to the corner... Randle and Adams could be one of the best shut down combos in the league...

Ultimately it's impossible to say he'll be a "sure fire stud" here... but given the additional coaching he received, playing against better competition, and and overall work ethic required to play in the no fun league... it would be likely he could contribute in a good way... also, he'll be only 26 at the start of next year... Doug Brown was no guarantee... neither was Jamaal Westerman... I think one of the biggest factors will be if he ready to move on from the NFL and is fully committed to a CFL career....

That's very true... but it's a little disappointing that we're only still in it b/c of the futility from Sask, BC, and Mtl... I said in another post that it is so frustrating to sit through another shoulda/woulda/coulda, season... with little to no extra effort, just some execution we should be 8-7 right now... and battling for 2nd place (with a 9-6 Calgary team that we have the tie-break on... in my fantasy scenario!)

I know but you need backups. If Bastien gets injured, no Canadian WR to step in. It's doable but leaves us very thin. I don't see why we can't sign a Kito Poblah or Jade Etienne to stand on the side lines and look pretty in case of an injury. I thought it was reported (albeit here, so take that for what it's worth) that jade was done with football... I'd be interested in seeing what Poblah would do as a jersey filler... too bad that rifles kid didn't work out...
