I agree with you but not in the order you have it stated... I believe you need to find someone you can count on game in and game out... then cut your losses...

I think all (maybe most is more appropriate) Bomber fans will agree it's an excellent "problem" to have...

I honestly thoroughly enjoy reading the interactions between reasonable posters... there's just some guys who start every response with "stop trolling" or "you're just pushing an agenda"... rather than take part in actual discussion... but hey, I don't want to call the kettle black, every forum has them...

One thing I was wondering about this JSJ holdout... Does anyone know approximately how much Gagnon, Revenberg, and Villiancourt (and even Brian Jones) signed for... if Jones and Co think they can sign JSJ for less than the other top picks... I wouldn't expect him to ever play for the Riders...

yes very true... I hope our bickering doesn't come off as childish and petty to outsiders as their does... however I thought it was funny that many Rider fans were defending Mike... turns out there are a few level headed individuals...

I'd argue the rock solid hands part... sure he's improved but he's not as sure-handed as guys like Green or Dressler...

I jumped to about 60 and we're right before camp is about to start and he's not signed... things are starting to heat up...

She is aware of my NFL fantasy football obsession (I'm only in 2 leagues now, it's getting better)... so maybe I'll just keep the CFL one to myself...

Sounds good... I'm in (unless the draft date/time doesn't work for some reason)... I have this thing called a "wedding" coming up in about 5 weeks and I have a feeling my future wife will make me prioritize that over this draft... I'm starting to reconsider all of my life decisions...

Count me in... would this be a legitimate fantasy league where you pick a team and stick with it or is it like TSN's where you change up your team every week using a salary cap?

Where does the fun start?... I just looked and it's 100+ pages long!!

just out of curiosity... this RF thread everyone is talking about is "Riders pick JSJ 1st overall"??

First off, I'm just glad it's not a choice and we have both... but I think if I could only have one it would be Smith.... by all accounts he has the same professionalism and work ethic of Dressler...plus he has the added benefit of being several years younger... I could see him carving out a successful 10-year career here... That being said, I'm very happy to have Dressler... and especially excited to see them both on the field together...

Reportedly St John was asking for 400K over 3 seasons

he'd be making a lot more as a CFL starter than an NFL PR player... bad Cdn dollar closes that gap a bit... if he can make the active roster then he'd be in the money... hope he does...

A combo pack of Chevon Walker and Nic Grigsby... the best of both worlds

I don't care how they do it but Wild and Bass need to be on the field at the same time...

I couldn't type the word without thinking of this guy...

Just thinking... it's not inconceivable that BC could have the first and second overall pick next year...

I think, in hindsight, had we never switched to navy blue... we wouldn't love the royal blue as much...

I really liked Vernon Adams in Oregon last year... the offense suffered horribly in the bowl game when he got hurt before half... that being said, he has never taken a pro snap and has no guarantee of being a productive pro... he went undrafted and had 2 unsuccessful NFL workouts (I believe Seattle and NE??)... right now it looks like Buono completely raped Popp in this trade....

Theoretically if that trade was made, Denmark for Dressler... or even Smith... at the end of last season, Rider fans would be outraged... don't pretend that's not true, even in hindsight...

There was very little change to the jersey... but they look good for the Riders (or as good as a rider jersey could possibly look *throw-up emoji not available*)...

This is brilliant... he must have some friends with a lot of time on their hands...

Stanley Cup predictions anyone... I think it will be St Louis in 7 and Pittsburgh in 7 (gotta figure both series' have the chance to go the distance)... Then St Louis in 6 for the Cup... I think they have enough speed to keep up with Pitt and will dominate them physically...
