The Bomber defense is not as great as some people make it out to be. With that said the O has one had one game this season in which it has scored 30 points. Yep, one game. This is really pathetic.... just for fun I looked up what every other team has done this year (cuz who actually wants to do real work on a Tuesday...) Number of games scoring 30+ points: BC (3); Edm (5); Cgy (4); Sask (5); Ham (9); Tor (5); Ott (5); Mtl (2) Seeing as Bryant Turner had a massive game as our DEFENSIVE TACKLE with 3 tackles and a sack and a defensive presence that has been missing lately, I guess we have to wonder if you're paying attention.. I'm assuming based on the comparison to January... he meant Stanley Bryant... not Bryant Turner, who actually had a great game...

Three things... 1. Jacquie posted a link showing where her information came from... and that it was correct... 2. I wasn't taking a shot at you... just pointing out that Jacquie almost always has links to back up her arguments... as she did, once again, in this case... 3. as Sweep the Leg alluded to... pulling "do you know who I am"... is not generally met with positive enthusiasm... 4. and based on your typical posts... only watched the first few minutes but seems like there's some good fundamental coaching techniques in there... good that it's being taught to NFLers but this is obviously stuff that should be implemented at the grass roots level... I've long maintained that NFL and CFL players could learn a lot about good tackling techniques from rugby players....

The thing that kinda bugged me about it was he keeps saying "this is not a joke"... sure he actually intends to give the tickets and $5 away... but this is absolutely 100% a joke... he posted this ad to try and get and laugh and try and get some local viral attention... and he achieved his goal.... The best part of it all would be to see the Bombers win both of the last 2 games and make the playoffs...

I really like Jake Thomas and I agree with tracker... I'd like to see him used more... I would be awesome if we could get ourselves a solid Cdn DT to split reps with him (not necessarily a 50-50 split)...

I disagree completely... the Bombers and Riders "signatures" are, by far, some of the worst football jerseys ever created... I really like the Lions and Als... I might be bias towards the Als cuz I like everything the Oregon Ducks do too... and those Als jerseys are very ducky...

I said this a few months ago...Bombers are getting new jerseys next year and will be a spin on the retro royal blue. Nervous about "a spin" but will accept anything provided the current logo and Royal Blue are included. I'm not as concerned about the colour as I am about the style... though I like royal blue better than navy blue... if the jersey was something like the 70s/80s style with navy blue as the primary colour, I would be ok with that too... Isn't his wife a Winnipegger?

Maybe you wanna make very sure Huff will come here first... before you fire Walters and O'Shea. Otherwise, be ready to scrape the bottom of the barrell for your next GM and HC. you know ive been to many bomber games and ive never seen a 50/50 be anywhere close to 100k. Its usually 40k give or take 1-2k. I'd assume if someone didnt win last week due to ineligability, it would start at the $40k they couldnt collect not at a cool $100k. And every game has shown the previous 50/50 winner. This does seem fishy**edit: nvm I see trueblue said they bumped it up a bit but bumping it up 60k is a lil more then a bit. Lol How many Bomber games have you been to this year? It has never been anywhere near as low as 40k all season... usually around 75-100k... I believe the Banjo bowl was around $140,000... I said it the first time this rumour emerged... and I'll reiterate it again.... If Huff is available this off-season and is looking for a GM/HC gig... I would fired Walters and O'Shea immediately.... take whatever they make, double it, and offer that to Huff...

I have no evidence, that's why it's called a "theory". If I had evidence it would be a "fact". I'm speculating.In my opinion it's a likely theory, but it's just a theory. And I'd think there are certain contexts where O'Shea is more likely to be truthful than not. Just to clarify, in you opinion, it is a plausible theory.... meaning it's technically possible... not a likely theory... which would mean there is a high probability it is correct... hope that clear up the argument for everyone

Yes it does sounds familiar.... except without the Grey Cup win.... most would be a lot less sour on Taman and would be willing to forgive the recent disastrous years if we won that 2007 game...
