I actually think this team is more like the 2007 team... this year's offense is much better than 2011, despite the most recent showing... Also, although Baressi was the OC, pretty sure LaPo was calling the plays in 2011...

I really cannot figure out why we are not handing the ball off 25-30 times a game... Harris was averaging OVER 8 YARDS A CARRY last week... I don't pretend to be an offensive wizard but this just seems like common sense... having Flanders in there and it's 15-20 carries for Harris and 8-12 for Flanders... just seems to make too much sense...

I think Edm will beat toronto just by showing up...

No, the Edmonton game means nothing... if we win we have 11 wins and Edmonton will have 10 (might as well just give them the W over Toronto now)... last time I checked, 11 is more than 10.... we need BC to lose plus a Bomber win to get 2nd... However, a Bomber loss clinches second for BC, coupled with a Edm win would knock us to the cross-over... which isn't the worst situation ever but I'd prefer not to enter the playoffs on a 2-game losing streak... I'm pretty sure that's against CBA rules... but I sure hope they find some legal way to "punish" the players for that disappointing effort...

I'd consider Ottawa and Ham much better than Sask... but Sask much better than Mtl and Tor (which I guess doesn't really make sense since they lost to Mtl)... and I didn't really want to create a new tier for them... Sask is inconsistent, their best is as good as Ottawa and Hamilton's worst...

I've always preferred to look at the power ranks as more of a tiered system... to me, right now, there's probably 4 tiers: 1) Calgary... in a class of their own right now 2) Winnipeg, BC and Edmonton... all good teams, any could beat the other on any given day 3) Ottawa, Hamilton, Sask.... good teams but very inconsistent 4) Montreal, Toronto... just complete garbage

The thinking is that they will potentially be rusty and overconfident... I believe it was Dee that posted in another thread that they will have 41 days between clinching 1st and playing the West final... and with the week 20 bye that also means 3 weeks with no games at all... So I don't know if it makes them "ripe for the picking" but I would certainly suggest they could be vulnerable...

Winning the Grey Cup and having the 1st and 9th overall picks is the only acceptable outcome to this season...

As much as I love seeing the clown show in any city other than Winnipeg... it concerns me when places like Montreal, Toronto and BC are a complete **** show... we all know those places aren't exactly flooding with CFL fans as it is....
