The problem is there is a big dropoff from Ellingson to our backups so would you rather gamble and have him for a couple of quarters in the Wf or not at all ? I think we should wait till the WF to play him. Just make sure one of our DI rec gets lots of reps or whomever would be his backup.

The 6 d look more solid with morr- pionk,dillion-schmidt,demelo- Samberg combos.. good on the Jets.😊

Until we get a big gun on the point our pp is going to suffer. Hopefully they sit Stanley against the Avs not that Samberg is a massive upgrade but at least he is more mobile and less prone to boneheaded plays. Like to see Capo...

1 - 3 after this road trip, Helle can't keep saving us. Feels like it's going to be a long year. It is early yet though...is Dubois buying into the backchecking rule cause that first goal against was on him.

Given up is kinda not the word I would choose. Yes Isles traded him but that was after 3 seasons playing top 6 and he left Ottawa as UFA. He could have signed there. He pulled a Myers.
Crazy looking back Ottawa could only afford one $6m dman. Jets have 3 guys at 6m.
And the only one worth the 6 is Morrissey. Same defense as last year. Maybe the new system helps them??

Would like to see some progression, but people need to remember that he is only just 24 and has little more than one full season’s worth of games under his belt. Zdeno Chara was given up on by two teams by the time he was 28 and didn’t win the Norris until he was 32. Won the Cup at 34 and still had a decade of hockey left in him.
Chara was a hell of alot nastier and better positioned than Stanley even early in his hockey development, the only similarity is the height imo, but we will see.

I know Chevy won't do it but Simmonds on our 4th line would definitely give us some grit that we need...wonder if any team claims him?

He's 25. How much more development is expected
Well Montreal is the team that will find out one way or another.

Have to think this how it's going to play out, with Kovacevic and Capobianco being sent down through waivers. Maybe Toninato instead. Can't anyone else being risked.
Toninato,Harkins meh...the rest you can't risk...I like Harkins but he just isn't physical enough to add anything new to the team.

All those four D left have shown more than Stanley who has been the typical pylon give away machine. Though at least he has been more physical. We kinda need a mix of Heinola with Samburg...

Love Khari but ZC is in a different category.....will go down as one of the greatest CFL Qbs period.

Are we not allowed to discuss roster management or our depth in regards to injuries when we have a winning record?
If you look at the pick 'ems, everyone expects to win; we're just talking.
Of course have at em...just wondering how bad of a season are we having?😉

Wait...are we 12 - 2 or 2 and 12...??🤣

I don't think BLM has worn out his welcome, and it seems pretty obvious as to why he is 2nd string. I am sure that a lot of Stamps fans still like him, and appreciate him, you just can't deny the obvious. BLM is not the same QB he used to be prior to his shoulder injury. I am sure that BLM being a ****** canoe made this transition much easier for them though...that and the fact that Maier is balling.
Make no mistake, even nice guys have little sympathy shown for them when their game goes South. I would expect that if Zach ever starts tossing up lame ducks, and wobblers with regularity there will be a good number of Bomber fans all too ready to run him out of town. Such is the life of a CFL QB.
Nope not in my books, Zack can go the rest of his career throwing lame ducks and i would still never want him traded. Zack when the time comes will retire a Bomber and will always be a respected and honored QB who won us 2 Cups...and counting?

Rookie Dbs, missing Lbs, injuries caught up to us on defense. I trust the Cdn mafia to get this worked out when crunch time hits. We just finished a tough back to back, i knew that and our injuries would mean that Hammy ( who had nothing to lose) would be tough. Flush this move on.
