Yeah Malhotra has really shot up,i saw one pundit had him at 2, and suggested he could go 1, he is having a great playoff run but that is a stretch imo..but you never know. 😊

Yup but there is a dropoff from those 3 to the next level guys..my mind you always have to take the best player..no matter the position. 😊

I think we need a second line center and all reports have Bjorck almost at the same level as Stenburg-mckennna..but an allstar dman wouldn't hurt ethier..but those are the top 3 in my books.😊

I can see the reason for 3 years..teams draft, invest in their Canadian talent only for them to leave depending where the player calls home...and the salary cap is to protect the teams from themselves..overpaying and risking the collapse of the league, again. It's low but for our league unfortunately it's necessary.

I don't think Elgersma has anything to do with it... They brought in a bunch of Americans to compete. Even if TE was in camp, it's a stretch to expect him to be a #2.
Yeah i agree i was thinking more setting aside the money to get him here..😊 gonna need time to groom the kid if he comes here.

wallace played the best of our guards outside of vanterpool. It was his first full season and first time being a semi regular starter. The fire is pretty far from his feet.
Eli, is the one who needs to step up most. After that, it’s bryant. We have a good few imps to push him, and we are going to see some very good imp tackles hit free agency.
Wallace is more than fine if he continues his progress at the same rate.
imo, upfront money is the way to get him and at a good over all price.
The only thing i’d add to rigmaidens comments is, it’s not coming. it’s already been here. And it’s nil+ nfls expansion of pr and pr compensation.
We already don’t see the guys who have any real success at good schools. We’ve lost first and second pick over of the former pipeline schools like bigsky, basically once a qb is 4/5star in hs, we’ve lost out on an opportunity with them unless they fully crash out of the nfl or blow all that money. Even then, the usfl is more attractive to those guys despite the less money.
the days of 80-90k qbs with some upside is over. I think a second salary increase should partly be used to split the cap with qbs. The floor needs to be 150-200k for us to attract the talent the league desperately needs.
Teams should have a floor 1million on ar qbs. It’s an investment in the league and game it self. 500k for the starter, 250-300k for qb3 and 200-250k for qb3. If your top tier qbs are earning 750k-1million each, instead of 500-700k you have a much better ability to attract young qb with upside talent and success.Yeah. Allen to corner, kramdi to s and griffin to sam would be awesome.
pretty much just sergio to re up now
Maybe just maybe we should be looking at developing Canadian Qbs as well..say a designated 2 to 3 year spot for a Canadian Qb to be groomed( that actually benefits a team ratio wise), the talent has gotten so much better, they just lack the coaching that US players get.

But he’s a center and an elite one at that. McKenna is a winger. But he can probably drive line 2 immediately but so could stenberg and he’s a center. You can’t go wrong top 5 with verhoff and Lawrence also. And the other D. Reid. Stenberg would be my pick. Plus we seem to like Swedes here. He’d fit in. He’s also ppg player in the shl at 18. Dude is generational. He’s a generational Swede.
I like Stenburg too..i think he is a winger as well at least that's where the swedish team was playing him, but all the scouting i have seen say any one of these guys can go No 1 because there is no clear consensus generational player( like a Mcdavid) 😊

The problem is.... He's not THAT good. Like, he's a very good hockey player... But he's not the generational talent like McDavid or Crosby. This feels like a waste of a tank year... McKenna isn't even the consensus #1 at this point.
Yea...stenburg? Sp..looked really good at the world junior...looked better than Mckenna....but not a generational player ethier. 😔

Yeah i agree with you all about Bjorck size, especially at center, but there is something i really like about his metrics and already playing against men plus he took all the faceoffs over Frondell ..but i agree top 2 definitely McKenna or Stenburg.😊
