Yup but Bc signed him first..he was backup in Wpg and Cal wouldn't pay him...so off he went. He played a couple of games in Winnipeg but we really didn't know how good he would be...playing behind Tommy Clements.

he got less grooming than Brown got here tho....and did significantly less than Brown did...Yet MTL had the foresight to look forward and project their squad so to speak and would be the best option for them...We didnt...there were many signs ZC was in serious decline and we just kept referencing 2019-2021 and some reg season success....but poor playoff performances

Ugh...never been a Comrie fan..i know he is a great team guy just don't think he is good enough talent wise..i hope i am wrong...who is the backup? ( i see right now it's Milic) we look at possibly bringing someone in?

Gonna disagree..i believe Noeller was saying because they have been the only tandem in what like 30 years to have a dynasty team that maybe it would be wise to keep em around.. i could be wrong..there definitely is more there than they are nice people though.

With all the warts and all with the defensive rostering this unit can control a game, and in play-off football this defence can I think go on a rip, and unlike OC clown (he has dropped from just OC Guy to clown now BTW) I have faith in Younger and Hall if provided the right personnel, and you cant look past that in all reality Alexander is basically still a rookie starter...and playoffs are a different beast...we seen firt hand all the fancy stats and wins in the reg. season account for zippo when rubber meets the road in playoffs....
And a younger hungrier bunch...well we seen how that translates to an aggressive overall unit....and maybe that will spurn Vaughters and WJ to rachet it up a notch....and generally WJ usually shows up in big games so not too concerned there truth be told if they actually turn him loose
Vaughters and WJ are gonna be on roster...just how Osh rolls and they should be really...We gotta get Jenkins on as he handled that MY; line easily....with Vaval back on roster fo Logan we can easily dump the extra DB in Lawson Jr and use him in that spot...and the smart/right move would be to have Bailey on for one of Corcorran...Ball and yes Thomas...1 assume Kramdi would replace Vibert....tho the use of Woodbey there...and Smith who were moved all around were more than good....Be nice to get one of Persons and Jaworski on too, but that would be at the expense of Ayers/Wilson and cant see that happening....But a heavy rotation of WJ/Vaughters/Jenkins/Bailey with Lawson and Woods taking DT reps would give us our best front...especially with how effective Woodbey and actually Smith were as outside edge rush/contain guys...4 man fronts with all 4 those ends would give tha Al's fits
Given what we saw yesterday with the potential....and if Demski is back and the offence can control the t.o.p and actually put up some 7's I feel pttty confident to be honest and can't discount that Vval may bring one back
If we flop...saying it now it's gonna be due to coaching blunders and a piss poor roster on game day...fingers crossed that Osh actually saw something yesterday
Definitely Bailey being Cdn should be in the mix...Osh praised him on OB.

No...just no. MOS believes his way( focus on special teams) 9 Cdn because of the flexibility if one gets hurt...that's what he believes..is it right with the talent level we have with CDN players? I will leave that up to a professional coach who has brought us 2 cups and to how many Grey cup games? I don't always say he is right but i believe he has the right for at least one season to show us he ain't wrong, despite what informed posters on here say...i want the Blue to win as much as anyone but to suggest MOS can't coach or assess talent...would you guys say Dickenson couldn't coach the last 2 years before this one?

Yea..what coach plays rookies ahead of Vets? Not many unless they are rebuilding or have to because of injuries...or the rookie forces them to out of sheer talent.

MOS being a former Cdn linebacker himself perhaps may have a better idea where these young guys are right now? I just don't see why he would intentionally hold back CDN players and at the same time intentionally ignore rules that would help him dress more starting Americans? Which one is it? Is Mos not always criticized for being pro-Canadian?

Loved his heart...but couldn't stay healthy and was rarely a factor in the playoffs. Best of luck to you in Carolina.

Defensively we really after Lawson..Adams..WJ & Vaughters have no dline depth...sure they roster Thomas and Korneslson but they are bodies filling up the roster...and if that is the extent of the "depth" or guys that can be legitimate starters if need be....or quality rotation guys who aren't a serious drop off...or athletes you can do different things with...then thats pretty effin sad thats the best we could muster up...and that basically 3+ yrs running
Since we lost Stove/Sayles/Nevis we basically have stood pat ad never really addressed that...We finally got some serious athletic interior guys last yr but they still basically played second fiddle when we didnt even need a Canadian on the feild, and actually one of them got dropped from the roster (Adams) and we saw even more of Thomas and Schmeck...Woods got banged up late in yr and Adams still didnt get back on......just brutal
But hey we have 11..12 linebackers dressed...3 who actually can play....Gauthier who now is a hit or miss now...2 (SHay and Smith) who ooze with athleticism and talent but dont get a rep...and a whack who should never see the feild in a defensive situation....thats a badi back half of a roster
I am going to answer this not to start more of an argument but just to state a fact. MOS is about slanting his roster for special teams,hence so many Lbs...not saying it is right or wrong myself. But it is what MOS believes and for me..that is a good enough reason since he has won more games and more Cups than anyone back to Cal Murphy.

back in the day score or maybe sportsnet had a show with some cfl guys talking and being regular guys. I remember one with swac playing pool in particular.

Good question. I would imagine at the halfway point we can get an idea how far he can come back. It was always a roll of the dice..but you give a guy with his pedigree a lot more time than most imo.
