True, game day shows need to set a tone and entertain. If any thing have the schtick on that rather than the game day panel.
can’t stand Kate.
Id love to see some of what lapo has been doing on his yt, and what we’ve seen teased by matty/milt previously. The in depth player / Xs n Os break downs.
back in the day score or maybe sportsnet had a show with some cfl guys talking and being regular guys. I remember one with swac playing pool in particular.
Can’t stand it idk it’s soo disjointed and repetitive.

Back to football....Winnipeg Blue Bombers sign former Hamilton Tiger-Cats DB Dexter Lawson Jr., five others. https://3downnation.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=c0b5ba8aa423955dcfd871950&id=46e295f857&e=41155e484c

Is this site tho a state run site for news/commentary...so to speak?..Apparently I got a inappropriate language warning for saying tugger by one the "powers that be" I guess moving forward I will use "kisser" as in kiss the ring..."bender" as in bemd the knee to....or "licker"...as in boot licker...all terms and phrases used and acceptable in mainstream media.....if you choose to think of it as something else....you know who you are...then thats your sick mind....not mine
But here's a thought....how bout a room that is for the non thin skinned benders?....make it password protected and you need it to gain entry so the easily offended cant stray into it ad be offended?
Where tugging...bending and criticism can freely flow and be discussed?...and opinions that vatu be discussed without bias?...I'll even offer to moderate and I sure there some others be nore than happy to as well, tho I doubt with how you access it there would be much need for moderation as personal attacks and bias wont really be an issue....I would even offer some more insider and out of the horses mouth info/content as well which I would never share here....how bout it?....Boss
Call it Booch's hooch..😉

It's going to be interesting to see what Chevy does with the Ehlers situation, especially with where the Jets find themselves this season.
It would be insane to me that one of the options is him walking away as a UFA getting nothing in return other than what he has contributed to the Winnipeg Jets over the last seven years.
I agree, or do we sign him long term with his history of injuries and so-so play in the playoffs? I guess this is why Chevy makes the big bucks.

Well all u bitchin about BO not getting the ball enough in the GC, that issue is fixed! 😉

I hear what you’re saying, but he was awful tonight…. And I feel like that’s the case too often. I hope he finds a groove, if we’re hell bent on keeping him, but I have zero confidence he will.
Unfortunately i think your right. I read an article from Chevy about Stanley getting hurt at a key time in his development, the problem with that is Samberg missed alot of time with injuries too and has developed into a top 4 dman. I just don't think Stanley has that hockey sense, he just makes poor decisions when under pressure.

yeah when you score 5 goals instead of 1, your chances of winning increase exponentially.
I like Comrie but there is a definite drop off between him and Broussy as our backup from last year imo.

I believe that's called coaching. This is the guy we have - let's get him ready.

Pretty hard to bring in a decent back up at the end of the year. Nobody thought Arbuckle was adequate....

If the backup QBs were not good enough to replace a QB with a buggered-up index finger on his throwing hand, why the Hell were they there at all? That would seem to be a huge waste of money. Or would that have been a big FU to Walters for forcing him to tt Nichols and start Collaros way back?
Because O'Shea.
You're kinda forgetting our true backup with experience was hurt?

His first couple of steps are slow and because of that puts him in a pickle more often than not.
I agree it's why he has to be in proper position and play within his abilities, sometimes he does, so far he has not been able to do it consistently but the coaches obviously think he can. Gotta prove it this year i believe, how many more chances can he get?

I feel Stanley and or Heinola will be part of a trade package near the deadline. Maybe both in seperate deals even.
Josh. Melo. Neil. Dylan S. fleury. Miller. Cogs. Stan Ville. You only really need 1 extra D. They also have ahl all star RHD Elias Salomonsson. So something gotta give. Cogs to waivers sure. But if you trading for a top 6 D. You moving a couple out then.
if you looking to fix the 2C problem long term. You’re looking at Perfetti plus lambert or Yager plus 1st. I’m talking Elias P out of Vancouver type stuff tho. Non rental. Signed long
We need more size in our top 4d,but how do we get it? No way that's enough for EP, wishful thinking. Hopefully Chevy can sneak something, somewhere.
-
I always call out Stanley for poor games gotta give him credit for a solid game. If he can learn to consistently play within his skillset he could be a solid 6th or 7th D.

I really think Goaltending is the issue still. Who is the last superstar Canadian goalie? Price? It was pointed out to me that European amateur clubs buy the equipment for the kids including goalie equipment. How much do parents have to shell out? Hopefully this loss we really have a hard look at our grassroots level....

I am going to answer this not to start more of an argument but just to state a fact. MOS is about slanting his roster for special teams, hence so many Lbs...not saying it is right or wrong myself. But it is what MOS believes and for me..that is a good enough reason since he has won more games and more Cups than anyone back to Cal Murphy.
