One game in, Vegas definitely looks to be the "team of destiny" this year.  Eichel can taste it now.  Same with Phil Kessel though he's been healthy scratched since the Jets series.

Unfortunately your right, the Vegas circus looks like a winner. Does Bettman get a cut ? Without that crazy expansion stocking of Vegas shelves would they be here so quickly? 😉

    Yeah, Woli's not going anywhere.

O’Shea on what he’s seen from Murphy: “Yeah, he’s smart. He picks it up very quickly. Very smart. He’s made some good tough catches, too. He’ll continue to grow and he picks up a lot of stuff very quickly. Woli (Drew Wolitarsky) is one of those guys that if you’re around Woli or playing behind him, you can’t help but just be really taken by how smart he is, how he’s always doing the right thing and how he’s always working so well for the quarterback. There’s so much trust between quarterbacks and Woli, not just Zach, but anybody, Woli would immediately be the guy. So, being around Woli like that would be a great opportunity for a young guy.”

Doesn't sound to me that Woli is going anywhere...

Let’s be honest BOLO will get some reps this season. I love Demski but because of his use he’s a tad injury prone. Between him and Woli I would bet money that BOLO gets a decent amount of reps this season, he’s a big dependable target. Really don’t mind his game at all for what we need from our third Canadian receiver.

Yea,but Bolo gets injured alot too, we gotta keep all three imo, Bolo,woli,Demski..

  4. MOS quote "There’s different ways to do it. You either say, ‘Here’s our system. We’re very rigid. We’re bringing people in to fit that system. If you don’t fit the system, you’re gone.’ We look at it the other way — what can they do and how do we put them on the field and have them be successful.”  ‐‐--------Just another example of why MOS is such a great coach.

    4th round pick:

Tanner Schmekel, University of Regina (Regina, Ssk.)

A monster in the middle for the Rams, Schmekel is a bull-strong, 290-pound gap plugger who is almost impossible to move off his spot. A team is liable to fall in love with his positional discipline and physicality on tape, but his below-average athletic ability and mere 30-inch arms limit his potential.

Last name Schmekel ,that is an unfortunate last name to live with🤫

Fantastic asset management. The fans should be ashamed of themselves.

This is a tough one because we were battling just to make the playoffs so the lineup had to be based on what Bones thought could win. I will give Chevy a pass on this one. He let's his coach set the lineups.

  7. I agree except for 80. IF the rumours are true ,Montreal will just wait us out get him for free. Unfortunately i think they are true. Our only hope is that Montreal is desperate enough to give us at least a first rounder to show their fans they are trying to win now. We won't get fair value but at least a chance at a decent  player somewhere down the line.

Can say I’ve never seen such an interview of a GM or CEO before. Repeated , “we’ll have to see what opportunities come our way”, is actually feeble.

I am going to cut Chevy some slack on this. He always keeps it close to the vest.  No sense adding fuel to the fire with Bowness or the players right now.  Wait till everyone has cooled down and go from there. No other realistic way to play this.
