  1. I hope Mr. Feoli-Gudino gives one of his better efforts on Sunday. I thought he was way better than Kolhert in his limited field time but when he started a few games ago, he was pathetic.
  2. A player like Loffler comes along maybe once every 10-15 years and good receivers pop up in the CFL pretty much every year.
  3. "Mailed it in?" Are you referring to the last home game against Ottawa?
  4. I would prefer to see a double-reverse half-gainer with a twist.
  5. Roosevelt is a heckuva player and if he had been on a better team, he would have been a contender.
  6. Gable is very good when healthy, which doesn't seem to be one of his assets.
  7. I'm not sure in which universe the Riders would have been assumed to beat the Lions, so if that was the probable (even guaranteed) scenario, we weren't going to have a home playoff anyways, so where is the logic in risking the only quarterback we have had in a gazillion years who was good enough to get us into the playoffs? Realistically, the only thing at stake was playing BC or Hamilton.
  8. Historically, the Bombers have not been good at bringing in stiff competition at the QB position- we've been fortunate have even one good QB in camp.
  9. Or what? Had we lost with Glenn we would have crossed over to the East. I think we still would have won with Glenn but moving over to the ESF doesn't sound like too much of a penalty.
  10. Most of us don't have to go that far to find troglodytes. Often in our own families.
  11. No question that BC is beatable, and if the Bombers win convincingly, it would be a great confidence-builder for meeting the Stamps. The key might be forcing BC into a turnover early.
  12. Mr. Popp certainly made his departure memorable.
  13. Ugh. Might as well use your left hand and a bowl of water. Are you a fan of thong-style Depends?
  14. Life is like a roll of toilet paper- closer you get to the end, the faster it goes.
  15. I could learn to live with that.
  16. I voted to replace LaPolice, but there is a caveat. I don't know if there is or will be a better option out there, so we may be stuck no matter what we want. Secondly, there is good evidence that Nichols is much more effective in a dink-and-dunk offense than a bombs-away one. We really do not know how the team would have looked with a QB who has an arm like Burris or Jennings, and therefore the offensive numbers may not represent LaPolice's best.
  17. No question the Esks will be favoured, but if Collaros is "on", Edmonton's secondary is very suspect, so I would not rule out an upset. What is a "big crowd" for the BC Lions? more than a dozen?
  18. Did you bring enough of your stuff for everyone?
  19. That is exactly why I fear meeting BC in the WSF- our deep pass coverage is very suspect and BC's passing game is downright scary.
  20. Probably not. The gross over-spending was all on Popp and that is going to cripple the organization for a while to come.
  21. Ooooh! Ooooh! Sexist comment!!1
  22. After some 50 years of following my team, that is not an option. If you think I would be sad if O'Shea is re-signed, next year may well be a sad time for the whole team and fans. I would be perfectly happy to be proven wrong.
  23. That statement apparently came from the CFL head office
  24. I don't foresee a lineup to sign Nichols as a starter. He is a good QB who can steer a very good team to success but not carry a mediocre one on his shoulders.
  25. Ottawa would be fools to let Harris go at this point in favour of a relatively unknown Franklin. Besides, it has been definitively stated that Franklin in under contract for 2017.
