PS: I'm getting bored and restless watching the Argo-Hamster game. Bring on the big boys.

Intelligence isn't what is stopping Lankford from becoming a premier receiver, nor is it his speed. He presented well in an early-season interview and sounded humble and grateful but I'm not sure has that competitive hunger and drive to be a Milt Stegall.

Its like watching a pillow fight between midgets.

don't we have a dedicated D-line coach? If so, its on him.

What will it take to beat Edmonton?
With his size and bulk, he's sort of the immovable object in the center of the line. If they run right at him, he clogs things up, but I do not recall him chasing anyone down, which means he has the same speed as the average glacier.

Powell seems determined to carry the RedBlacks on his back to victory. Even Lindley looks like a credible quarterback. Hmmm.........

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
I happen to think that Kaepernick would be a good fit for the CFL. However, he apparently has several dozen millions in his bank and doesn't need to play in "the minors". According to 3downnation, there is little chance he will ever come north (unless he wants good coffee and donuts).

Westerman Out For Season
I still think its erectile dysfunction. Or urinary incontinence.

Bombers in best Uniform contest
Good to hear that you are still able to look down at the grass.

Carmicheal gone for remainder of the season
But but but we were told that he was the next coming of Rod Hill.....

That would be my guess. Ricky Ray is about done, at least as a starter, and if he is either gone or relegated to back-up, that will free up a lot of money for Collaros, who is going to have to lower his expectations, at least for a year. However, if Wally is out on BC, who knows what the new brain trust will want or do? Montreal is a disaster in slow motion, so who does that leave?

"Get on your feet, Bomber fans"
Maybe we could bring in Roseanne Barr. She was certainly memorable in her anthem rendition and doesn't seem to be doing much these days.

Any decent quarterback would have to be either insane or heavily medicated to want to sign on in Montreal for next season unless there are major changes in the overall talent level, coaching and general manager's positions. Money is nice, but having your career derailed by being beaten up due to a horrid O-line, poor receivers and/or incompetent coaches are a good way to end your career. Ask Buck Pierce, Darian Durant, etc etc.

We've paid our dues and had enough of losing. Grind the Esks right into the Astroturf- no mercy.

Who has the better team: Calgary or Winnipeg?
People often obsess about what they lack.

Bombers sign Zavian Bingham
Sorry- was referring to Mr. Brown and got confusicated.

But Jesus loves you....

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
Back in the 80's-90's when the salary cap was a gentleman's agreement, the Esks spent like sailors on shore leave and bought up all the best players because they could due to being the most financially viable team in the league. It got to the point where they actually paid the travel expenses of teams so they could afford to come to play at the Grey Cup a couple of times.

I am beginning to wonder if Jones is feeling heat to produce results after the circus he has been ringmaster over for the past while. Desperation makes for poor decisions.

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
If anyone is still labouring under the delusion that the Riders, much like the Eskimos of previous years are even pretending to respect the salary cap, this ought to wake them up.

Are Homer and Lisa looking at Homer's groin? Creepy.

Dressler injured (again)
The problem I foresee is his increasing brittleness and rehab times. If hope that Dressler has the smarts to retire while he can still walk without pain, and I also hope that he will be suitably honored at a home game. If it wasn't for him, I don't think the Bombers would have made the playoffs last year.
