There's a cause and effect though.  She reports misconduct by star QB.  Contract isn't renewed.  She had been with the team for 6 years, 5 seasons because of 2020 cancellation.
Retaliation is a form of wrongful dismissal and the lead up with the accusation to not renewing the contract will be looked at as such in civil court.

If this **** came out about anyone on the Bombers I know I'd react the same way. 
I don't recall many people protesting Lawler being suspended for his DUI and in fact I think the only thing that saved him in the eyes of most here was his accepting responsibility and trying to make amends. 

I think it would be the same reaction if it was one of our own.....just as it is with Kelly....when Lawler had his bone headed lack of judgement nobody here glossed it over...many suggested he be gone...that being dais Management here was very procative...suspended him immediately until they details got more known and digested.
It is also a totally different situation, and just the act of a bodily harm threat alone should have been grounds for some kind of team discipline above and beyond the other stuff....and regardless if it was directed at a male or female
My take ...and from formerly being in a room, and knowing about some of the parties involved in Management. and what unwritten rues exist, this seems to be a legit thing to me...where there is smoke...usually thre is fire...Murphy is a known and confirmed idiot, and I have 100% belief he tried to push this under the carpet, and also likely had some less than professional comments and interaction with this...Kelly....nuff said...basically is Johnny Manziel re-incarnated here and on his last chance with pro ball, and he has done far worse (and proven) in the past...so again...Highly believable and in regards to the trainer...she has zero to gain from this really other than a wrongful dismissal, or the fact the team used this to not re-new her term...there was never an issue with previous renewals until this.... so why know?....add it up....and it looks bad on the Argo's as a whole, and just further confirms what a piece Kelly is
thing with Harris ped suspension...as someone who knows a lot about that...used and supervised others use...the drug he was supposedly stung with is one in which noway shape or form a football player...especially a skilled position guy would use in season, let alone really off-season....and it's half life would have been out of his system in days....plus...I couldnt even fathom a guess to where you could even procure it now....not sure what is up and happened there...but that one didnt add up

People who suggest someone might make an accusation like this just for attention blows my mind. To compare an acrimonious divorce to this, which would be very localized, to making an accusation against a very public figure isn't even like comparing two fruits together.

Look at the abuse this poor woman received as a result of her complaint, and add 10 more years of people being terminally online and instead of a local board game store have it be a MOP QB and what do you think could be going on with her right now.

Don't compare this to an acrimonious divorce. You are trying to minimize the situation by reframing it and it shows. This isn't the case of a lover scorned and you putting it into that kind of comparison can only serves to minimize the victim's credibility while garnering sympathy for the accused. This is a workplace sexual harrassment investigation, let's get that straight.
I get it that you really want Kelly and the Argos to be blameless here, a victim of a hatchet job by a crazed ex-employee hell bent on revenge. The investigation will tell us whether there is an inkling of truth to that. Right now all logic points to the victim being credible. She really has nothing to gain in comparison to what she has and will lose.

I doubt it would be different to be honest.

No way in Hell that the CFL needs a sexual predator as even a minor player, let alone a star. I have worked with raped women and even my late wife who was a nurse suffered because of this sort of thing on the job. The damage is catastrophic in many cases, and rape has nothing to do with sexual gratification. It is an act intended to humiliate the victim and reduce her/him to an object of powerlessness and utter defeat. Most predators have been victims or vicarious victims but that in no way excuses them from responsibility or consequences. 

If he did what she says he did, then I 100% hope he's gone and never comes back. **** any ******* that tries that greasy **** on women.... and that goes double for Murphy, if he did what she says he did. He's even worse for trying to sweep it under the rug. *IF* what she says is true, they should both be long, gone and forgotten. 

For offensive humour to work, it has to be more funny than offensive. That’s the difference between a great bit by comedians like Chappelle, key and peele, or George Carlin, and un funny stuff like all the just a prank bro shtick, minstrel shows Jim Crow humour etc. it’s also about the difference between laughing at joke and laughing at a group of people in a joke. 
 
There is as much dark, edgy, and offensive humour today as ever. But when those things fail to be funny and target laughs at groups they get called out now. That’s the difference.

Will it be a real investigation with consequences, or a sweeping under the rug with a game suspension served in pre season. 
 I really want to see them come down hard on the Argos administration if this ends up being true.

Saw her at a Banjo Bowl while she was pregnant, trying to get through the drunken mob to the elevators on the concourse. As a fat drunk myself, I acted as a plow with her following me to get her to the elevators, while she verbally cleared the way. 

They should have just included, "make sure you ask your husband if you're allowed to come!"

It's shitty comedy. My daughter doesn't do girl math. She does math. The math that put us on the moon wasn't girl math. It was math that was done by a woman. 
There's funny jokes that make fun of people and then there is stupid **** like this that continues stereotypes.

He's one of those guys (like Drew Willy) where I always wonder what he would've looked like if he played on this version of the Bombers

In every interview I have seen he has said he did that for his family. Second generation Canadian just wanted to maximize his earnings to take care of his family.

Terrible loss for the family with such young ones involved. Always seemed like such a stand-up guy.
Sad that we have already lost someone that was a part of our championship family.
 

This is incredibly sad. He was my age. Good player, and represented the Winnipeg Blue Bombers extremely well, glad he got to win a ring with us in 2019 

He sent my son a signed photo. He was pure class. 
He worked so hard on the dline bible. I followed him on Twitter just to see all the all the work he put into it. 
 
 

Leo played TE & OLB for the Bombers from 1978-82. If the jersey just has normal stripes on the sleeves then it's from 1978 or 79. If it's 1980, it has the Bomber logo with a 50 on top of the arm stripes to mark 50 years as an organization. (It was the Bombers 50th birthday in 1980). In 1981-82, the Bomber logo is on top of the three stripes.
