Love Strev and happy to have him back. Hopefully we can lock Schoen in as well.

People are going to finally see what I (and others) have been seeing with O’Shea for quite some time.
He is an insanely capable motivator of men. He is not a guy I want responsible for much more than that at this point.
I always think back to when he refused to bench that terrible MLB who committed 3 egregious penalties a game (Kuale).. and I knew from that point in I’d never want MOS as the guy making decisions

What the **** was that last play?

Demski was uncovered in the flat…. Brutal throw

Why did we give up the first single when they committed no yards in the endzone? That point seemed more valuable than the extra 15 yards.
I get that we had to give up the second, but we shouldn’t have given the first.

Saddest part is if Castillo would have come back last season, we are likely threepeat champs right now......
There’s no likely about it, and we all knew Legs was gonna cost us the GreyCup.
I can’t believe anyone would argue that we’d rather have Legs. We likely don’t win in 2020 if we don’t bring Castillo on.

All we need is a Kicker and I’ll be a happy Camper.

17 points still a 3 possession game. That point is no value to us, we need it to be 16.
Completely nonsensical.

We need to get Marino out of the league. Someone should lay his ass out after the game.

This bum was our biggest concern last year… we get Castillo and the problem is solved.
Hes our biggest problem again and we’re doing nothing about it. Horrific.

I was literally saying to my friends to punt it through the end zone. This kicker is so god damn. I’d never trust him for a game winning kick.

I’ll never forget BO when we first got good in 2016 or whatever saying he’s not going to lose to a sorry team like the Bombers in a TSN sideline interview…
Sorry BO, we aren’t going to lose to a sorry ass team like the Stumps.

interesting Coombs is only 29 years old and currently a free agent... I'm thinking he's either got some kind of injury or is done with football... I'd think if he wanted to play and was healthy, someone would've given him a shot this year.
I was playing against him in the local Rec league here this winter and I don’t think that man has an injury. He still moves like a gazelle.
If he can stay healthy, he’d be a productive player to have with the right passport. He would be a good depth signing with the injury to Demski.

Rhymes isn't making huge money...he less than Burnham who is 165ish I believe...on par with Begleton and probably Ellingson....it was the stupidity of the money tossed at Lucky....Dirty Duke....and Lawler....none of whom are earning it...at this point far better value with Ellingson and Schoen and when you look at the stats way more production, and thats with our offence just starting to click.....
You can’t really compare established CFL vets to a guy like Schoen. Of course Schoen is going to be a better value when he’s on an entry level contract.
We haven’t recruited a receiver who - knock on wood - looks as good as Schoen in the Walters/O’Shea era.

Yeah, I can tell.
He hasn't missed a FG yet.....and he's been punting great. He missed two 1pt-ers......... so what?
Oh I’ve watched all of the games, I just haven’t followed the practice reports.
He’s 4/4 on FGs but his longest one is 30 yards and he’s 1/3 on converts. 70% isn’t a good percentage at all. It’s certainly not from 35 yards and under. He was a bad kicker last year and he’s still bad this year.

Haven’t been keeping up much this year, but when the hell are we going to replace our kicker? He sucked last year, and he sucks this year. I miss Medlock and Castillo.

Yeah. I do know what they want. Too much.
They “held strong” long enough to get a proposal that ticked off the top six financial items on their wish list, put it to a vote and clearly did not explain the importance of actually bothering to vote to their membership.
They then turned around and went back to the league after a rejected proposal and said “make it better.”
You think it was the PA that leaked the poor voter numbers? It absolutely wasn’t, it was 100% the league and they did it because they know there’s absolutely no reason to improve an offer for an uninvested membership. The offer the PA ends up eventually pushing through (if it happens) isn’t going to be the best offer, it’s going to be the offer they accept because the paycheques are going to be missing and the players are going to want to play. 30% of the Americans clearly don’t care about the Canadian labour issues, but they’re going to care about an empty bank account.
The PA completely blew this whole thing. They’re out of their league.
20% of NFL players didn’t vote on the last CBA was which very controversial. What % of players do you expect to vote? 70-80% seems to be an average turnout.

Nope, that’s what ruined the Dave Ritchie bombers. He was a great bomber, but sadly a logical guy to move on from.
