Since Pavs broke into the NHL (full time), the league average for goalies is 2.58 GAA and .913 SV%. Pavs clocks in at 2.92 GAA and .906 SV%.
Considering Pavs has been below the league average in both categories every single year, pretty safe to say he's been one of the worst starters over that period.
He's also averaged 54 appearances per season over the last 5 - which seems very high given his play (relative to the rest of the league) especially factoring in the shortened season where he was 44/48.
 
The statistical roadblock to proclaiming Pavs the worst in the league is that no other goalie has put up numbers similar to him, and had such a long leash for so long.

Have to agree with Maurice's assessment. Pens dominated the 1st, we controlled the 2nd. Pens get benefit of doubt from two blatant misses from the refs; goal scored with 6 skaters at the end of the 2nd, and a phantom penalty on Lowry for bodychecking. 
They've played well enough to earn a pass on this game from me. Regroup and hammer Philly. They play better in front of Hutch anyway. Have to wonder what PauMau really thinks of Pavs after a performance like that...

As a member of the Communications staff at the Bombers, I can tell you that we do not use a specific calendar to determine when to issue releases.  There are a number of factors that have to be considered as far as when a release is sent out, every single one is different.   
I can't speak for other teams in the CFL, however.  No idea what they base their release dates on.

I can't see a "big slash" kind of deal involving any of Kane, Bogo, Buff, etc. Why on earth would you move a core player when this team is FINALLY playing well after 3.5 seasons.
That said, we should certainly be gauging interest in Postma and Pardy. Maybe you package one of them + a 3rd or prospect and away you go. 

I loved Bowman when he was here. No clue how he played last year after that bad injury, but if he can play bring him on back. Great team guy.

Two softies?!?! What game were you watching? The first goal he was being screened by 5 players standing within 2 feet of the crease and the second and third goals were deflected by players standing right in front of him. If you consider those soft goals I can't see how any goalie could ever meet your standards.
