For the hardcore fans maybe but to get big numbers you have to get the max number of casuals tuned in.. Casuals east of WPG , where you can get those numbers,  won't be enticed . Nice to think they would but it's just not the reality. 
This year's World Series record low ratings is a similar scenario.

And I heard the media pass rush was negligible.

Four weeks of scout team reps. Streveler had a full training camp, plus a week of 1st team reps before his first game. We'd be putting a guy in a position where he's almost certainly going to fail.

35 years in professional sports. Just to be clear is your head shot complained about officiating or the spotter responsible for concussion protocol initiation? They are two different things. My comments were solely related to the concussion issue. As for your case on officiating.....a difficult job and as far as fans are concerned you will be correct 50% of the time.

Well then based on your TEAM logic....how is anyone player great without the combined efforts of other individuals on their team?  

You know, I really don't care if a player leaves & then does well somewhere else. I just care about the players we have & the inconsistent play on offense every game. The subpar passing performances we are subject to every game. I care about receivers being virtually ignored or under used. That could be better utilized but aren't. I care about our qb who can't throw the ball past 7 or 8 yards effectively & shows no sign of improvement. Yet is trotted out game after game in mostly losing causes. We don't even consider playing McGuire which is insane. That's what I & other fans here care about. Not what former Bombers do elsewhere.

It's a damning statement about our offense that Harris is far and away the leading receiver in terms of catches.

Yeah, well those Bomber teams from around '88 to '91 had a great defense. In fact the Bombers MAY have had the best defense of all time in the CFL during those years (our offense sucked between the Clements and Dunigan years, but we still managed 2 Grey Cups).
That's why I am so sad about this year. Our defense is good, our offense has some good players...weakness is at QB and with Nichols going down it is even weaker. Maybe we can still pull it off...

How often have you heard a coach say someone doesn’t need to practice....this kid isn’t Tom Brady. MOS just loves serving up flippant comments....or are they condescending? Not really sure...I guess it doesn’t matter...it has come to be expected. 

Considering how little Wolitarsky has been used, particularly in the last half of the season, who would even know if he was absent? A talented, physical receiver who has been ignored and wasted. He ought to have been as prominent as Wieneke for the Als.

And for good reason.

In any league if you stand in the pocket for too long you will get hit. That has nothing to do with being asked to.

Mike O’Shea says Chris Streveler doesn’t need to practice. Streveler is apparently in the building but was not on the field for practice.

Assuming you're alluding to Matt Nichols... that is a very tough decision in the off season. My heart says keep him, but the brain says time to move on.

Like him or not, Cody Fajardo surprised everybody this year. Well, at least me. He’s came in and gave the Riders (spit) a chance to win games, and he executed the game plans designed for him. So he gets rewarded. I have no problem with that. I still have my questions on him, but so far, he’s proven us doubters wrong.

I don't think so?  Best they can do is 10-8 and that's the worst we can be, but we won the season series against them.

Loved to see strevelers heart and compete... But that wont win games. 

He may have played with courage (good on him) but it's painfully obvious that he can't make the throws to be a competent CFL starter.

As a running back. 

We played the weak sisters early on with not as much on the line. That's no longer the case.

Typical MOS. I'm surprised he didn't say he kept Streveler in because it gave the Bombers the best chance to win. 

Watching O'Shea's comments postgame reinforces the view that he cannot be HC here next year. 1) he admitted he has no clue what's going on on offence. 2) his explanation of why Bombers don't go for 2 pt converts is ridiculous. 3) his comments about Streveler's in-game health also are ridiculous. 4) surprised no one asked why he challenged Jeffcoats RP penalty.
