I don't think anyone is trashing Chungh the person...Chungh the football player is getting raked over the coals here and it seems his new team agrees.

It seems this evaluation has been done without any knowledge or insight into his health or injury status. There was a post indicating he was sat because of an upper body injury. Players trying to play injured run the risk of playing poorly and being unfairly assessed as a “bad player” . There is no difference between an injured player trying to play and a poor player...in the eyes of the fans they look exactly the same.

on the other hand a guy becoming one of the highest paid players in the league outside of quarterbacks opens ones self up to increased criticism, especially when the part of the team he plays on it complete trash.

Criticism is perhaps an objective opinion based on someone’s performance. I sensed an element of emotional bias and bitterness in the previous post. The player had no indication that the team was going to be “complete trash” when he signed there. The fact remains he had an opportunity to play “at home” as well as being well compensated.....hate the team not the players.

You strain your credibility when you make posts like this....and you do it often.

Thank you.....why do people become so bitter when a player decides to go elsewhere?  It’s a business...why aren’t players allowed to make business decisions? Be it money, family, geography...or other personal reasons. Maybe walk a mile in their shoes for a change.

But the offense did score, getting the go-ahead major with just under four minutes left in the 4th. The defense then let the Riders' offense march down the field 87 yards to get in range for the winning FG.

    Why are you deflecting?

I don’t see it as deflecting....you want to break the game down into incremental parts and individual plays. The game is the sum of all the parts and all the plays and components O D and ST. Any coach will tell you that no singular play or series can be examined and be responsible for the eventual result.  60 minutes....85 to 100 plays and the cumulative affect is the resultant score. Blame who you want hate who you want fire who you want....it isn’t that simple.

On the radio he's very vanilla which makes it bad for the interviews,   not that I want the guy to trash the club.  But it would be nice to get a bit more insight about why Chris Matthews was let go other then "It didn't work out".

Again, Tait works for the Bombers....plain and simple....he is their to promote the product and the company line....nothing else.

Definitely easier than hockey or basketball for sure

The structure of the game makes it easier inherently

Football has significantly more and judgement related rules, 24 players on the field , often in a significantly confined space with obstructed sight lines. The sight lines in basketball and hockey are less obstructed and contact with legal or illegal is pretty much confined to two players at any given time, again with an unobstructed view to the officials. Not that this relates to the ease of officiating but basketball and hockey officials have usually played the sport and have an inherent in-depth understanding of the sport. Again my opinion...I respect yours.

I have no faith in CFL officiating at all. You know "once bitten.." and all

I appreciate your opinion. I believe football is perhaps the most difficult game to officiate. Developing football officials is a unique challenge. Unlike hockey there are limited opportunities and high level games to develop your skills. I would suggest that most NHL officials have played a high level of hockey, they have that inherent knowledge and experience in the sport. That is obviously not the same in football. Lectures, video review and clinics can only develop officials to a certain degree. Being on the      Field or ice is the ultimate teaching situation.

Not a chance. If he takes 2 or 3 steps, he's faster than the Flash...

Watching the game on TSN Demand at 1:01:09 the ball is not snapped, at 1:01:10 Rempel is trucked. So according to you in 1 second Rempel snapped the ball lifted his head and took 2 or 3 steps? I think he actually snaps the ball at 1:01:10.

Rempel actually seems to be in the motion of lifting his head when he gets hit. In my opinion, that's a vulnerable position.

After further review perhaps the CFL will respond to this question.

Streveler is fine, Lapo is the problem here. That game plan to start the game was abysmal. That's the knd of stuff you give to Nichols not Streveler.

Lapo wasting the first quarter before starting to call proper plays and Ritchie Hall and his give up D at the end are what caused the loss. That Sask team is as garbage as I thought they were, but our idiot coordinators gave it away.

Holding an opponent to 19 points should result in a win in the CFL....especially given you have turned over the ball inside your 50 yd line twice, early in the game with little damage. Garbage offence results in over taxing the demand on the defence. We constantly rely on the defence to not only create turnovers but to score as well.
