The CFL has trouble recruiting coaches from Cdn University and NCAA because of poor pay and poor job security.....never mind the poor exchange rate.

The new era of Football Ops salary cap takes it’s first hit.

Need for next year MLB....MLB....MLB.......if I’m Hall and you don’t get me another real MLB...I’d quit. No MLB before Hall’s a bum that everyone runs out of town.....get him Bighill and all of a sudden he has a legit D. Go figure.

Unlike Harris, Collaros, Manziel, Franklin, Jennings... and to some extent Reilly and Nichols...? Masoli is as legit as you can ever hope for - BLM doesn't show up everyday
June Jones literally lost games that Masoli had won... they're a good OC/QB team though
Both Calgary and Hamilton had to deal with their receiving corps being decimated.....Calgary still managed to win the GC....Hamilton should benefit with a HC with a greater understanding of the Canadian game and an OC that can focus on offence.

Curious to know what happens if there is no new CBA before FA? How can you attract and sign players without being able to pay bonuses?
-
I guess I wasn’t clear enough when I said WRs I was specifically speaking about WR. So I am in fact talking about the Bombers.
-
Well we have consistently been unable to scout, sign FA or coach up WRs. Or a combination of all of those things while other teams ha managed to do that.Until that problem is solved this team will have to excel to get to the next level

It is simple to understand J5V ......while Walters does a good job evaluating and scouting Nationals the rest of the scouting department can’t seem to find WRs.....other teams do.

At least Bighill is bring honest.....remember the BS LaBatte peddled before he shuffled back home.

No Dinwiddie was 2007 when KG broke his arm in the East Final

You want a little déjà vu? The Calgary game was like reliving the offensive production of LaPo’s 2011 Grey Cup flop.

Like it or not the need is still for proven depth at the QB spot. Throw whoever you want under the bus when the bus passes over that body there better be someone standing there that can play.

their defense isn't as good as people like to think...sue they won the game with a pick 6 but really....can't rely on that basically for what..4-5 wins this year forever...it won't last and with that pathetic offence...come play-offs and crunch time it won't sustain.
With Edmonton's swoon right now, you know B.C is looking to go throttle the Riders to pass the Schmoes...I highly doubt they beat us at home again and Cgy I am sure wants to send a playoff message to them as well...they have 3 tough games and could lose out....we win out...well guess whee the WSF is?
The Bombers won their last 2 Cups with dominant defence and average or below average offence that didn’t turn over the ball. It’s fall playoff time....injuries and weather and defence becomes a major factor in the final weeks.

Firing anyone at this point in the season is pointless.....also who are you going to replace them with?.....ride it out and .....ride it out.

If it comes down to that Wpg might as well get whatever they can for Durant’s rights. Trying to over negotiate out of spite often reaps no result.
-
Ironically it isn’t about how you win a game it is about the W in the win column. The clear evidence of that was last year’s Cup win by Toronto.

If you watch the games on the tube there are a lot of fans dressed up as empty seats. Someone on here tried to say all those seats belonged to people drowning their sorrows at the Rum Hut. You would be hard pressed to convince me there are 5,000 people sipping a drink over there.

We seem to be underperforming in all areas, at least, I can't think of a single facet of the game that we excel at.
One of the things coaches constantly emphasize in winning or losing.....they emphasize the need to demonstrate improvement in all facets of the game over the course of the season. This team has not demonstrated that over the short term, nor over the long term.

I think you're confusing self assured and confident with being stubborn and unwilling to admit that what you're doing isn't working.
If it's just going to be the usual predictable sports cliches then why do it at all?
Isn't it true that if a person is self assured and confident that they can afford to admit they might have been wrong and that they are making corrections? That still wouldn't give anything away.
The problem with being stubborn is that you can't admit you might be wrong which stifles your ability to learn.
J5V...not saying I agree with it...but more that it is the expectation of the fan base. Always appreciate your posts.

Like it or not you would want your commander and chief to come across as self assured and confident....anything else would be perceived as weakness. The expectation that press releases or conferences will divulge anything other than the usual predictable sports cliches is unrealistic

J5V....some people can’t handle reality. That is the difference between objectivity- reality and the subjectivity of people who are simply fans.
