Also, $130,000 USD currently equals $181,000 CAD.
Plus, he's too good to stay on the PR forever....
Then factor in the difference in the tax rate......and the possibility of making to the active roster.

It’s judgement day.....we have now played all our games against teams that are below 500. The remaining games are against teams with winning records. We will now see what this team is really about.

Watch the play again. His head is up and that's what makes it OK to hit him. He got blown up because he was off balance. Not so much an intent to injure as an intent to give an opposing player a big hit, which is the Rider players job. Folks are upset that he got smoked, maybe concussed and didn't return to the game. That doesn't make it an intent to injure or a cheap shot.
There's no rule that says you can't hit a guy away from the play. There's no rule that says you can't hit a guy who isn't going to make the play. The rule doesn't need to change. It already gives the long snapper protection as long as he keeps his head down. Want to stop your long snapper from getting hit? Have another player block the middle. Remple was setting up to block.
Bias...bias bias....the officials are biased...the favourite chant. I have a suggestion....how about we wait for the CFL to review the play and make a decision. What a novel idea.

I thought he took a beating, some of his runs were running a gauntlet.
There's no way to tell how well he can play till they
1. Run some plays that suit him.
2. Get him more than one second to throw. O line was not very good in this game.
He certainly showed real leadership, gutting out enough offence to win the game, pretty much on his own.
Why make a mobile QB into a sitting duck pocket passer......move the pocket.

Agreed. But coach Ritchie doesn't coach the offense...check the stats
The point is holding an opponent to under 19 is a good thing....the expectation is that CFL offences score more then 19 to win the majority of games.

I checked Ticketmaster a few hours ago and it seemed like there were quite a few singles left...but that was about it. Hopefully it'll be a sell out
Hopefully not a lot of green shirts.

To be fair, Collaros wasn't much of a starter anyways so Fajardo really isn't their second string qb,
Regardless of your opinion of Collaros....based on the number of games their #2 had started he wasn’t considered to be their starter.

If I'm Sask i feel lucky to win.. A team without its starting QB and star feature player aka Harris.. A team who OC had a lobotomy b4 the game. Winning by 2 against our backups. Sask aint nothing special
Check the rosters how many other teams have had to play without their starting QBs including Sask?

The fact remains....how many teams win when they score 17 points?

Of course it's possible that his hamstring injuries are still bothering and hampering his play, I mean it looked like Hardrick was playing on one peg today but he continued to gut it out.
There is a wise old adage in sport.....what is the difference between a player playing injured and a poor player? Nothing they both look like crap.

I mean Hall's D gave up 1 TD and have done that pretty consistently.
Lapo we could get rid of anytime. He's getting nothing out of a lot of talent, with or without Nichols and Harris.
The hilarious part is the number of people touting him as a prime HC candidate.....please take him. That accomplishes two things....rids the Bombers of him and guarantees wins against whoever he is coaching.

We need to let go off Lapolice and Hall after this season. Seriously.
They are wasting talents.
Defence.....5 sacks ...2 picks. Allow about 65 rushing yards....best in the CFL....and Hall needs to go....when does this stop. The offence is a contributing to the amount of time the defence has to play.

And if you have really been heavily into ditchweed for a long time, you can test positive for a year or more.
Not sure what your scientific bases is for that statement.....mine is a know fact.

This is a player who has been tested 8 times as a bomber, a player who said there Was a running joke in the clubhouse about how often he gets tested. You gotta be pretty stupid to think he knowingly did this.. The fact trace amounts, what is a trace amount anyways? Were found suggests contamination. Cuz what is the point in taking a tiny amount of dbol anyway when a tiny amount would do nothing.
Logic? Nah who needs that.
Trace amounts....do you understand what drug half life and degradation rates are? Drink 6 beers what’s your blood alcohol level 1 hour after? Then what is it 3 hours after? It isn’t necessarily about the quantity consumed it’s about how long it stays in your system and how fast it breaks down. Smoke a joint and there will be trace amounts in your system for up to 30 days.

Users an personal trainers have a long history of staying ahead, circumventing and having substances go undetected. HGH was used in the NFL for years before testing evolved to detect it.

And how many players to people want to kick out of the MLB Hall of Fame?

highly doubt that
And how do other tests being clean man nothing..so all the guys on riders who have been clean for years are dirty too?
I think the correct term in the “juice world” is doing a cycle. Hence clean tests and potential unclean tests

The only way that Harris is going to be completely vindicated would be for him to produce a clearly unopened container of the supplement he claims was responsible and, in the presence of a disinterested credible third party, take the container to a lab and have it tested. However, even if it was untainted, Harris could claim that the contamination was obviously a random event at the source, making the test irrelevant. In my experience, a positive test is pretty conclusive, if it was a gas-chromatography mass spectrometer test. There was obviously cause to suspect Harris and he put his hand into the cookie jar once too often.
I would be curious as to the exact name of the product, the lot number, manufacturer and where it was purchased? Was it a retail outlet or purchased from a personal trainer? Was the container sealed, seal tamperproof or unsealed? The notion of a randomly tainted container doesn’t make much sense - to what end? Some significant questions and answers might provide insight as to how this happened - accidental or otherwise.

Harris said that his being tested so often is a long running joke in the Bombers locker room...
Well now he can look forward to regular mandatory testing.

The pro sport mantra....”it ain’t cheating if you don’t get caught”
-
Harris is an outstanding player....the CFL MOP.....the risk and challenge associated with that is he is responsible for 36% of your team yardage. Your leading receiver is Whitehead who ranks 21st in the league with 378yds....Harris is only 49 rec yds behind your leading receiver. How many RBs and starting QBs play 18 games? I’ll give you a hint.....not many. The critical element in the CFL is depth, be it National or International....at any and all positions.

You can walk into GNC and buy tainted supplements, they have gotten into it with the US DOJ for not accurately listing ingredients and cross contamination.
Well then I suggest Andrew should get it tested, hire a lawyer and sue the company for lost wages.
Chris Streveler - Has your opinion changed?
in Blue Bomber Discussion
Posted
Right now Streveler is a typical young QB coming into the CFL......a QB that has great running ability that hopefully can translate into a passing QB that is a real threat with his legs as well. We seen others that have come in that ultimately are more RBs trying to play QB.
