Watch the play again. His head is up and that's what makes it OK to hit him. He got blown up because he was off balance. Not so much an intent to injure as an intent to give an opposing player a big hit, which is the Rider players job. Folks are upset that he got smoked, maybe concussed and didn't return to the game. That doesn't make it an intent to injure or a cheap shot.

There's no rule that says you can't hit a guy away from the play. There's no rule that says you can't hit a guy who isn't going to make the play. The rule doesn't need to change. It already gives the long snapper protection as long as he keeps his head down. Want to stop your long snapper from getting hit? Have another player block the middle. Remple was setting up to block.

Bias...bias bias....the officials are biased...the favourite chant. I have a suggestion....how about we wait for the CFL to review the play and make a decision. What a novel idea.

I thought he took a beating, some of his runs were running a gauntlet.

There's no way to tell how well he can play till they

    1. Run some plays that suit him.

    2. Get him more than one second to throw. O line was not very good in this game.

He certainly showed real leadership, gutting out enough offence to win the game, pretty much on his own.

Why make a mobile QB into a sitting duck pocket passer......move the pocket.

I mean Hall's D gave up 1 TD and have done that pretty consistently.

Lapo we could get rid of anytime.  He's getting nothing out of a lot of talent, with or without Nichols and Harris.

The hilarious part is the number of people touting him as a prime HC candidate.....please take him. That accomplishes  two things....rids the Bombers of him and guarantees wins against whoever he is coaching.

This is a player who has been tested 8 times as a bomber, a player who said there Was a running joke in the clubhouse about how often he gets tested. You gotta be pretty stupid to think he knowingly did this.. The fact trace amounts, what is a trace amount anyways? Were found suggests contamination. Cuz what is the point in taking a tiny amount of dbol anyway when a tiny amount would do nothing.

    Logic? Nah who needs that.

Trace amounts....do you understand what drug half life and degradation rates are? Drink 6 beers what’s your blood alcohol level 1 hour after? Then what is it 3 hours after? It isn’t necessarily about the quantity consumed it’s about how long it stays in your system and how fast it breaks down. Smoke a joint and there will be trace amounts in your system for up to 30 days.

The only way that Harris is going to be completely vindicated would be for him to produce a clearly unopened container of the supplement he claims was responsible and, in the presence of a disinterested credible third party, take the container to a lab and have it tested. However, even if it was untainted, Harris could claim that the contamination was obviously a random event at the source, making the test irrelevant. In my experience, a positive test is pretty conclusive, if it was a gas-chromatography mass spectrometer test. There was obviously cause to suspect Harris and he put his hand into the cookie jar once too often.

I would be curious as to the exact name of the product, the lot number, manufacturer and where it was purchased? Was it a retail outlet or purchased from a personal trainer? Was the container sealed, seal tamperproof or unsealed? The notion of a randomly tainted container doesn’t make much sense - to what end? Some significant questions and answers might provide insight as to how this happened - accidental or otherwise.

  6. Harris is an outstanding player....the CFL MOP.....the risk and challenge associated with that is he is responsible for 36% of your team yardage. Your leading receiver is Whitehead who ranks 21st in the league with 378yds....Harris is only 49 rec yds behind your leading receiver.  How many RBs and starting QBs play 18 games?   I’ll give you a hint.....not many.  The critical element in the CFL is depth, be it National or International....at any and all positions.
