Finally, after quite a while, the Coaching Staff gave Streveler the opportunity to run an offence for more than a couple of plays. Invaluable. A true learning experience. Even that dumb pass. He’ll know better next time. 
Streveler has to go through these things to learn these things. I’ll bet he was pissed off more than you and I. 
Starter material? Not yet, but I bet he appreciates everything he’s learned this year, and with each snap, he’s getting closer. 
I believe he likes it here and will be ready to continue his career in Blue and Gold.

I'm assuming this is why Walters didn't go after other guys (i.e. Chris Matthews)...he likely gave Gray a nice signing bonus which counts against 2018 cap.
Anyways...O -line could be strong for years to come.

When Bighill notices the kind of character player that the Blue are bringing in, and he’s mentioned it, you just know that that attribute is being looked at by this crew, and not always readily available.

By definition, in order for it to be a trade, we'd have to give something back to Montreal. Could Jackson improve the team? Maybe. But this isn't the time of year to be rolling the dice with an unproven player. Also, don't you think that might cause some dissent among the ranks?
As for the internal workings within the Bombers - absolutely we're kept in the dark. For all we know they may have tried to make some of the trades suggested in this thread, but we'll never really know.

I think you mean archetypal.   I'm not sure that any of the names bandied about would have actually improved the team in any measurable way.  The only thing that a trade would have done is to satisfy the "they have to do something" itch that so many here seem to need to have scratched. 

But that's not even remotely close to the point I'm making... I didn't say, if you don't watch the games live, you're not a fan... I appreciate that life gets in the way.. I've missed three homes games this year and probably haven't missed three games in the last 5 years combined...
What I am saying is when you do watch the game... if you are truly emotionally invested in a team... you will feel everything cheering for your team... no matter the circumstances...

Sorry Dude - but no matter what slant you try and put on things - IMHO Richie Hall needs to exit stage right after this year. And sorry yet again but the Calgary Stamps organization is something the Bomber organization should try and aspire to. They are the top organization in the CFL as of today - Nice try though!

Guy lines up ar half back, teams put their best receivers in the slot, and you wonder why the half backs get targeted more? Every db gets beat at times, but Alexander has been a really good player for us this year. For my money he's been the best, though a late charge from sayles makes it close.

Two years ago Walters went and got Heath and Glenn to say he has done nothing in the past is factually wrong.

What does Bauming gain by saying that? He doesn't work for the team so he has no reason to lie.  Someone asked him if he thought the team would be bringing some new blood in & he said they had made attempts.  Whether or not that actually results in players being brought in, is another thing.

Of course Bauming would say that. Amazing how other teams can make moves late in the regular season & we can't. Meanwhile Ryan Stankford  stays on the PR. It tells me Walters sits on his ass & really doesn't want to do anything.  I don't buy the excuse we can't do anything. Why wouldn't we try to upgrade at receiver? Makes no sense.  Our roster & personnel management drives me crazy.  We are not a proactive organization. 

Argos trying to trade SJ Green?  Can't see the asking price being too high for him.  If he's not concussed, I'd trade for him as he'd help us. But then, Walters doesn't do that in the regular season, does he? We always stand pat. 

You forgot to mention irrational hatred combined with agenda.  Pretty hard to overcome that.

No, it's that both numbers are ridiculous. Not surprising coming from Rod Black but still ridiculous. I've noticed the difference between watching the two leagues too. You watch an NFL game and they actually talk about what is going on in the game. Seems so simple. You watch a CFL game, particularly one called by Rod Black, and you hear a commentator who fixates on one or two players and just won't budge. It's really frustrating, especially when they just talk about whatever while the play is going on.

Is it really the hot hand if Woli has been one of our most consistent receivers?

I wonder how much was hall and how much was mos. He has been a lot more hands on with the d and blitzing is about as anti hall as it gets. The d play call was brilliant who ever is responsible. 

When after multiple years of seeing one thing, there is a sudden change. It makes me suspicious that Hall just figured it out.

They’re not free and clear, but allowing only 17 points in the last 2 games and 1 offensive TD against in the last 3 games is...pretty good.

Defence sucks it’s Hall’s fault....defence plays well Hall had nothing to do with it.....?  Seriously.....the haters will always hate.

I think what happened is Bighill confronted Hall and told him that Biggie is now in charge of the D.

This is how O'Shea has operated since day 1. Is anyone honestly expecting him to do so differently now?
As for the return game, the blocking doesn't appear to be as effective in previous years. I don't think that falls on the returner.
