I have to agree the the Skunk.  The offence didn’t win the game.  The offence only played well enough to not lose the game.  Leaving TDS on the field and getting FGs will bite us down the stretch.

I would like to congratulate the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.  They are one of the very few professional sports teams in North American playing in a stadium paid for by their owners! 

This move is more about a transparent and open provincial ledger than giving the Bombers a break. Running debt under every rock won’t help the government with debt financing.  The blame comes down to a flawed business plan (empty Target building vs new high end mall), a spend thrifty ex-Premier, and debt buildup in most provincial departments/corporations.

I like Mike.  
Lapo needs to be less predictable.  We shouldn’t see the same play twice in a game.   That’s just lazy.

Winnipeg hates change.  Should have used the Bombers third jersey for the Jets, IMO.
 

We need Matt Nichols to find his own confidence, make quick decisions and distribute the ball to our playmakers.  O'Shea's confidence won't do it for him.

We lost cuz our QB threw high and behind into double coverage. We lost because they ran a punt back for a TD. We lost because they mostly blocked a FG. All that in the first half when we dominated the game, the yards and the TOP, while holding them to about 100 yards of offense.
We lost because we went 2 and out a couple of times in a row when we needed a drive. We lost because we covered the 3 yards they needed, but ignored the deep ball. We lost because our QB threw an 8 yard out badly resulting in another pick, when we needed to go down the field. We lost cuz of a busted coverage that resulted in a TD.

Lol.. Not today.. Richie Hall gave up 17 points cuz Richie Hall cant tackle and Richie Hall sucks in coverage... But still Richie was only really on the field for 17 of those points.. So.. The Riders O scored 17.. Im considering the pick on the first drive a pick 6.. 
17 points? Not bad at all. 
The End? Perhaps but I think more so for Nichols. D gave up 17 points.. Without the mistake on O and special teams.. We win.. Oh hey Medlock had a FG blocked also. 
The D was good enough to win but our O cant help them.. Bomber D isnt great but 17 points against? What more do you want from them?

You know what? Better the Lapo offense struggle in august than the fall. The D has improved a lot, i don't care what the numbers say, they were good enough to win on Saturday with any help from the offence. It will get figured out, every team has a poor stretch at some point, beat the riders and all is well again.

And people are going off on hall and the D? 

2 plays over 20 yards.  One involved Nichols.  Completed 3 passes that traveled 10 yards or more downfield before garbage time.  No run game aside from Streveler.  Max Hall would have been disappointed with that performance.

Just rewatched the game on TSN. Kinda sucks how they muted the audio - didn't sound all that loud on TV.
