the watcher reacted to Booch in Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
that's in no way circumventing the cap...it's an off-season job, and smart thing to to include in the presser, as it shows potential free-agents that there is opportunity for off-season and or post career work in Winnipeg as it is a large city with major companies who have work potential...unlike a pisshole in the ground place like Regina where there is apparently zippo

wow....I would never have figured for 3....but then again....it's the power of the organization...regime...locker room and Oshea...well done...this is huge moving into February as well as we now know what we have to play with in free agency for the likes of JSK..possibly a DB and a receiver

They got him a job and will be moving here full time pretty big coup for the Bombers.

save for a guy or two we "might " lose to the NFL..I have a pretty good feeling we will be able to sign the free agents of ours that we want to sign...and also have an ace in the hole over the rest of our Western counterparts as we already know where our QB SMS money is allocated for 2019...so we can target certain guys at certain price points knowing it fits our budget, whereas the uncertainty of what QB's will be actually available come free agency and 3-4 teams fighting for them with price obviously being driven up to unknown numbers..will make it hard for some teams to go after other assets they need aggressively as they can't hamstring themselves...so shall be an interesting next couple months

I believe it's an old Chevy Nomad...runs great but like it's owner can be a little temperamental at times

I suggest in order of consistent shut down ability and all around play....
Juron Bolden , Rod Hill, Roy Bennett, Les Browne

Better Canadian content, better depth, better talent in trenches, better Canuck receivers, a young QB with actual promise. With MOS we have been able to actually (and finally) attract free agents here, and players play hard for him. Walters actually works on building things through draft. That 4 game funk, cost us a home playoff game.
Still some flies in the ointment - the most glaring being recruitment at import R and need to get moving on Medlock replacement...

You're welcome, Scorch, but expect verbal abuse and questioning your parentage, intellect, and sexual preferences starting tomorrow.

Well Done. No excuses here if you don't have a chance to win with your backups why are they on the team. It's football injuries will always happen and are never an excuse. The Head shot at the end did not cause us to loose the game. Good teams don't leave it up to one call, but for the love of god they need to get that hit out of the game, It happens too much to all teams QB's and my feelings on that don't change no matter what jersey colour the QB is wearing. I hope you carry the momentum and break your Grey Cup drought as every fan base that supports there team through thick and thin deserves to be part of a championship win cause it feels awesome. Still sucks we lost thought just glad it was a nail biting quality game. Cheers.

That's what a flawed team gives you when it counts..a loss..if defence or special teams cant score..they rarely win..
And that should shut doubters up about 3 all stars on our line..they owned the game and grinded that "vaunted" sask defence into submission

Damnit Harris stop padding your stats and just get the TD you don't need the TD and the fumble recovery.

First half observations
usual playoff jitters to start O-Line was having a tough time making gaps between the tackle Zebras aren't calling much. At least two blatantly obvious offsides and a few holds they ignored Wol is a beast. Crappy time management last minute. Paddy, you cost us a few points with that penalty Gutsy call on the FG attempt, Medlock had the leg but looks like it curved at the end 2nd half needs
smashmouth football. No big plays given up on d, don't be so soft Keep slamming with Harris and the passing threat Misdirection, misdirection, misdirection.
LETS GO BLUE!

So here are some interesting numbers over the each teams last 5 games comparing us vs Sask.
Wpg vs Calgary 29-21 off a bye week and controlled 3/4 of the game.
Wpg vs Sask 31-0 dominated, period
Wpg vs Ottawa 40-32 dominated, but almost let it get away.
Wpg vs Edmonton 30-3 dominated.
Wpg vs Montreal 31-14 dominated.
We outscored our opponents 161- 70
Now the inbreeders...
Sask vs BC 35-16 defense dominated by Sask
Sask vs Calgary 29-24 held on to win
Sask vs Wpg blown out 0-31
Sask vs Edm 19-12 slugfest and managed to squeak out a win.
Sask vs Montreal 34-29 barely beat one of the weakest teams in the league.
Sask has outscore their opponents 117-112.
Every team Sask has beat, we have beat better or worse! We are destroying teams they barely beat.
I'm so sick of TSN and the CFL websites talking about how good Sask is... They really do have a horseshoe up their arses, that's for sure. Even the 2 times they beat us, 1 play our way and the outcomes are different.
I'm truly not scared of these Hillbillies!
I'll be cheering for Calgary this weekend so we through Mosiac for the semi and shut their faces once and for all!
TSN will probably still have the Riders higher on the power rankings after we beat their a**es in the playoffs!
We have seen that any team can beat anyone else this year, but here are my power rankings based on recent play and momentum:
Wpg 5-0 Multi-dimensional offense, lights out defense, we can lay the beatdown on anyone in the league.
Ottawa 3-2 ( Great Offense, very capable defense, Officiating always goes their way. Case in point last time we played them).
Sask 4-1 ( Dominant D, horrible offense, horseshoes up their a$$es and the refs never call penalties on them except for make up Bull$hit meaningless ones to even out the game ).
Bc 3-2 ( Normally potent Offense and tough D, I think had an off game against Sask. Will play with anyone in the league when they are "on").
Hamilton 2-3 (have potential to be contender but really missing speedy B and defense is Meh at best).
Calgary 2-3 (last 2 wins were against Toronto and Montreal...Nuff said).
Playoffs will be
Semi
Wpg @ Sask Winnipeg wins
Bc @ Hamilton Bc wins
Finals
Wpg @ Calgary Wpg wins
BC at Ottawa Ottawa wins
Grey Cup
Wpg VS Ottawa- Damn straight Wpg wins!!!!
Whoot Whoot Go BLUE!
