The one thing though was for years Warrior talked about being clean and not living the poor life style that many other wrestlers did. He looked good on his video blogs over the last few years and looked healthy and normal. He didn't look all drugged out like Bret Hart who is/was a crazy coke head and who now looks like a corpse who aged rapidly.

What's the time limit to buyout Pavelec? If Hutchinson plays well for the last two games and then IceCaps playoffs, I think we could have a whole new one-two lineup next year... Montoya won't be resigned. If the Jets make the decision based on Hutchinson playing 2 meaningless games at the end of the year then I would seriously question who we have in charge with management. The team will keep Pavelec (sadly) because by the time his contract is done *hopefully* Connor Hellebuyck will be ready by then.... I think three meaningless NHL games and a strong IceCaps playoff run earns Hutchinson the backup role... then we rely on Chevy to find a free agent starter Seems like a better plan than starting Hellebuyck in the 2017-18 season... He's had a magical season and a lot of luck ... I don't see the Jets committing to him yet. He only played because the caps had two injuries, Montoya was hurt and pav just sucks....

It was creepy in how his speeches he mentioned that his spirit will always move on and then he drops dead. I'm guessing the cause was probably from years of steroid abuse. He seemed to live a clean life after wrestling and he was in crazy good shape for an old guy.

It was awfully nice knowing that when you absolutely needed to make a play there were guys you could count on to make it. It was nice to know that you could actually move the chains. It was so sad seeing so many sub 200 yard passing games with only 50 yards rushing over the last two seasons.

Are you comparing a bunch of no-name import rookies with 55 year old Henry Burris taking up a gazillion dollars along with their other older QB? I'm talking about a few people complaining after they signed Anton McKenzie. Apparently Ottawa has no budget at all yet we have an open wallet.

Notice how the Bombers sign a whole whack load of new guys and this is the norm. But when Ottawa signs one free agent we get a whole bunch of Desjardins is a fool and over paying and blowing up his salary cap. I find this amusing.

Its to bad that in the past we didn't get Cory Schneider from them. If the Jets do make a deal with the Canucks which players do you guys think would move from both teams?

Watching Kane last night... He wasn't good. Way to many give always and he just can't make a pass. I'd rather have Pardy on the wing... He's showing more stick handling skills lol

I don't hate the signing, he looks intriguing at worst but I would just expect we would be able to do better than a guy whose most recent athletic endeavor was a varsity baseball team. And the all might Buono brought in Jyles who was doing exactly what last year?

Also this is great for us and bad for Glenn.... Unless Edmonton ponies up the money where else can he go?

Wasn't Kane around the top 5 guys available from the trade deadline? I think he does have a lot of stock still.

Did you know Setoguchi also had a 30 goal season and several 20 plus goal seasons...should he be paid 6 million? Lol your point isn't really valid.Sometimes players like Devon simply decline... Kane I think has one more season before the Jets give up on him. He's almost a bust and 6 mill is way to much for a third liner You can't bank on potential for ever...

No kidding aside from the Blue most teams are loaded with veterans ..

Do we know how much they gave to these older players? Doesn't other teams also have to pay older players? Doesn't it make sense to have more experienced guys for an expansion team?

Crappy, I'm not familiar with all of this as I'm under 40 and therefore never listen to the radio. It's unfortunate that the CFL isn't big enough to have anything remotely as good as the NFL where you get news and chatter online , on tv and on satellite radio....

Then why don't more people actually score 30 goals? Because they pass the puck. How come Wheeler , Little, Ladd have 20 - 30 more points and they each have more goals then Kane despite taking much less shots? How come they have to keep rotating line mates for Kane ? The kid has talent but he definitely needs to step up his game and he clearly is not earning his money. A 3rd line winger should not make that much cashola....

I hate to somewhat agree with Nate but even my wife who doesn't watch a lot of hockey knows that Kane will either Skate with the puck get pinched and feign injury as he slides into the corner Take a pointless shot rather then making the pass to start the cycle Someone will give him a decent pass and he ends up wiring it over the net. He's extremely predictable.
